He knows not how she got away and he asks EJ what he knows. EJ recalls his recent conversation with Ava, whom he knows got her sprung ... Allie apologizes for not knowing Sami had been snatched. Lucas smiles as Sami hugs their daughter and sobs she loves her so much ... Gabi gets herself ice cream and keeps taunting Ava in the kitchen ... EJ smoothly states he was not involved in Kristen's escape. Rafe doubts his innocence. EJ sarcastically suggests he solve the case himself. Rafe leaves them to their evening. Nicole watches him walk away ... Future medicine man Tripp has taken Sami's blood pressure, which seems fine. Lucas tells him she hit her head when the guard got rough. Tripp suggests she see a real doctor. Sami calls Lucas her hero. She and Allie want the name of her evil enemy ... - Groggy Brady remembers getting food at the pub for John. Chloe questions him about being at the river, where she discovered him. Brady feels like he hit his head. She weeps he was wasted ... Belle is shocked when Shawn reveals Brady's alcohol level was three times the legal limit. Chloe came across him down by the river covered in what might be Philip's blood. Belle stares in horror ... EJ updates Nicole on Chad and Abigail dining in their suite and sarcastically suggests Nicole invite Rafe. She sighs they had a moment and EJ blames Rafe. Nicole admits he is having a hard time. She senses EJ still has Sami on his mind. He defiantly denies it ... Sami updates Allie on the two goons. Lucas grumbles the one calling himself Jason got away. Sami suspects the motive was revenge. Lucas notes she is not without enemies. Sami has one person in particular on her mind ... - Brady argues if he was so drunk how and why would he have gotten to the river? Chloe found his watch by her and Phil's ruined tree of love. Then she left Phil to find him, checked with John and went back, only to come across no sign of Phil and bloodied Brady lying next to a knife. He was covered in Phil's blood type and now no one has seen Philip! Brady seems hurt by her suspicions ... Worried Belle and Shawn discuss the drama, the fact that Philip might have been stabbed and staggered down to the river ... Ava triumphantly tells Gabi how Rafe forgave her and has seen the way sis treats her. She suggests he will give Gabi the boot not her. Gabi insults her past and her cooking. Ava picks up a big knife and warns her not to forget what happened to Carmine. Here comes Rafe ... Nicole sips her martini as EJ denies having Samantha on his mind. She teases he needs a Sami exorcism and he steals a kiss ... Sami is convinced Nicole masterminded this abduction as revenge for Eric. Lucas, Allie and Tripp disagree. When Allie alludes to her mother's marriage to EJ being over, Sami dramatically and emphatically denies it ... EJ and Nicole end their long kiss. She suddenly imagines he is Rafe and blinks back to reality, mumbling about the martini. He believes she needs nourishment but she believes they need to go to bed now ... Lucas reminds Sami that EJ gave her the boot but she argues Gabi owns the mansion. She was going to ask her to let her remain at the mansion but was cruelly chloroformed. Alas the lovely Italian necklace EJ gave her was lost at Rafe's door where it fell. But she is back and refuses to lose her devoted hubby too ... Gabi pretends to be petrified and tells Rafe to arrest Ava. He snaps to go to her room with her ice cream ... Chloe assumed Brady would fill in the blanks. Phil's phone was found in HIS pocket. Brady asks to see the phone and stares in horror. These texts were not sent by him! Meanwhile Shawn shows Belle the printed copy of Brady's threatening messages to missing Phil. She denies it sounds like Brady and also doubts he would harm Philip. Shawn now gets a call from the lab. Only Brady's prints were on the knife next to him ... Brady finds it all far fetched. He could not have done all those things if drunk and would not have known to find Phil at the river. Chloe tells him of the trail of blood that leads to the river. Shawn is having the river dragged. He gasps they think Phil is dead?! - Belle claims tis all circumstantial. Many others are type O. She concludes Shawn has no case. He did not want to have to upset Victor unless he had something concrete so she tells him an easier way to check Phil's DNA ... Ava gives hungry man Rafe his burger and fries. She suspiciously asks what Xander said. That he would never help Kristen escape! She wonders where else he went. To speak with the DiMeras. On his way out he saw Nicole. Meanwhile Nicole and EJ are getting hot and heavy. He carries her to his grand bed ... Sami wants to head to EJ, who must be worried. She is upset to hear no one knew she was missing until recently and EJ was not among them. Sami feels for him. Lucas is livid he treated her badly. He suggests she get checked out at the hospital. She feels alright, appreciates all Lucas did, but flounces off to go to her husband ... Nicole and EJ snuggle and remember their first time together in a stuck elevator at the Salem Inn. Good times. He marvels here they are again and wonders whether this was as good. She gushes tis different but in a good way. They kiss again and he asks if she forgot Rafe. She laughs ... Ava asks what Rafe and Nicole discussed outside the DiMera door. He remembers his reveal he could not move on and fibs he told her the latest on Kristen. EJ arrived, claiming he had not been close to Kristen but Rafe sensed otherwise ... - Belle shares with Shawn that Phil's DNA is in the hospital database due to past paternity tests. Grateful Shawn goes to make the call to find out if they have a match ... Chloe tells Brady that Shawn warned of a possible homicide. She remembers Brady said Phil did not deserve her. Brady weeps he would never harm family. He swears he did not do it and begs her to believe him ... Shawn returns to Belle with dire news. The knife Brady had showed a match for Phil's blood ... Allie hugs heroic Lucas, who is livid about Sami going back to EJ ... EJ and Nicole are nekid under the designer sheets.
