Nicole blames Jada and accuses Eric of unfairly pointing the finger. She calls his new lawyer a lowlife so he says the same of EJ ... The sister demands EJ let her inside and tell her what happened to sister Sue ... Chanel gives Johnny a sympathetic hug. Enter Allie ... Li plays innocent so Stefan updates him on the DiMera jet being unavailable, how he discovered the logs were hacked and the plane was flown to Jakarta thanks to his sister's hacking. Drums play as he accuses Li of already knowing ... Gabi hopes Wendy will agree to be her maid of honor. Guilt ridden Wendy gets nervous and wonders why her ... Stefan arrogantly recounts how rattled Li was that day when he claimed sis was working remotely and went to look into it. The plane was already Indonesia bound and he knows for a fact that all expenses were signed for by Li. He demands the full story. Li claims he only found out after the fact and updates Stefan on Johnny being with Wendy ... Allie already knows about Susan. Chanel wishes she had known and feels even more overwhelmed. She bears bad news that will affect Abe ... Sister Mary Moira's visit has caught EJ off guard. She wonders why her money loving girl chasing nephew did not tell her what happened to her unfortunate sister ... Nicole argues she was with EJ when he dropped the charges against Eric. Sloan hands her almost client her card and Eric continues to question Nicole's decision to befriend EJ again ... Gabi in the pretty rose top recalls she had a sister Arianna, who is gone. Allie blames Sloan for all their misery ... - As Eric gets his jacket on Nicole blasts him for not acknowledging EJ's good deed and for blaming her for Jada's choice. He does not seem to be the man she once believed he was. She goes so far as to say EJ is a saint compared to Eric these days! Eric hits back by agreeing he is no saint nor is she! He accuses her of convincing Jada it was too hard to be a single mom. Nicole denies any wrongdoing. He claims to care not what she thinks. Not anymore ... EJ insists he tried to bring motha home and recalls how Ava snatched her and killed their deal. Mary talks excuses. He curses his motha is dead and wants forgiveness ... Allie holds Chanel, who is worried about Paulina and Johnny tries to make her feel better too. He decides to depart and look for Wendy but avoids saying why when asked ... Li claims he was covering for Wendy as well as Johnny. Stefan chuckles when he suggests he take Chloe south now. They have plans for the New Year and Li seems surprised. Stefan states they decided not to attend Li and Gabi's wedding. Li notes there are no lingering feelings between Gabi and her ex. He smiles and wishes Stefan a wonderful Miami holiday ... Gabi wonders what is wrong. Wendy remembers her and Johnny unhappily agreeing to keep their secret. She fibs to Gabi she fears she has too much work at DiMera and would not want to let her down. Gabi begs so she agrees and Gabi hugs the worried girl ... Mary muses God forgives but EJ seeks it from her. She is more preoccupied with Susan and gets sarcastic when he admits arrangements have not been made yet. She says shame on him for failing his mama in life and death ... As a piano tragically tinkles Eric and Nicole give one another one last longing look, remember their office kiss, how they almost made it, and go their separate ways ... - Johnny approaches Wendy at DiMera and admits he told EJ they would keep the secret. Rattled Wendy updates him on Gabi's request ... Gabi unhappily reads Stefan and Chloe's not attending wedding regret and gets surprised when Li comes up behind his beloved. She drops the note and he picks it up and reads it. He already spoke with Stefan and was unpleasantly surprised to hear she even invited him. She calls him a high ranking DiMera exec and insists she wanted him and the world to know how happy she was about her wedding with Li. He gets serious when she states she spoke to his sister, who hesitated when she asked her to be maid of honor ... Johnny assures anxious Wendy all is well but she blurts out she almost admitted what they did. Enter Stefan with a smiling suggestion they discuss just that ... EJ is making notes at his desk and admits to Mary he took too long working things out for motha. He goes to speak with Harold about her room. Mary tells Stefano's portrait to stop staring and goes to find Susan's room ... Nicole cries tears of torment when Eric unhappily walks away ... Gabi senses something with Wendy but Li tells her not to worry ... Stefan says no more all expenses paid trips. He warns nothing escapes him. Johnny gets worried ... Chanel leaves Abe a message to call and tells Allie they must stop Sloan from destroying their lives ... Eric shows up at Sloan's door to discuss the bill and she lets him in ... Nicole sits alone at the square and sighs sadly, remembering the way they were ... Mary is in Sue's room and sees the unmade bed, smells the strong perfume. EJ admits he allowed a friend to stay and she warns his soul is enough trouble already ...
