Tony returns from the crypt where the caretaker has just put up Jake's plaque. EJ sarcastically suggests he might not be dead. Down in the crypt Ava admires the plaque and remembers imagining her Jake was alive. All of a sudden she hears someone ... Li finally gets a call through to Rolf, who reveals tis hard keeping Stefan asleep. The mad scientist admits they averted a catastrophe and then realizes Kristen is in the room ... Li insists Stefan only wake up when he is over Gabi and then realizes she is in the room ... Kristen rages at Rolf for keeping Stefan's escape a secret and demands an update on making him believe he still loves Gabi ... Li smoothly lies to Gabi about his phoning father asking him about her and other things he cares about. Gabi buys it. She warns Kristen is giving Chloe a hard time and still seems on board but there is the matter of Ava Vitali now as well ... Johnny has returned from a run and admits he was concerned when he saw the open crypt door. He updates Ava on where he saw Satan. She states the DiMeras put up a plaque for Jake. Johnny overheard her speak her ex's name and she admits ... He already knows ... she assumed he was Jake ... EJ sarcastically suggests Ava saw the ghost of Jake when only Li was there. Tony senses brotha is up to no good again ... Brady complains to Chloe at the park about Kristen seeking full custody. He worries the biological mother with the clean slate could win but Chloe begs to differ cos there is another crime ... Rolf admits Stefan's feelings for Gabi were so intense he woke up and went to find her. But he and Li brought him back. Kristen is aghast to hear Ava saw him and assumed he was the late Jake. Rolf warns the deep love Stefan still harbors for Gabi might never be conquered ... - Gabi discusses Ava's hallucination of the late Jake with Li. They hope she will accept the title and salary offer and withdraw herself from the corporate world. Still Gabi has a bad feeing ... Johnny hears how Ava had waking dreams of her late hubby. But last night she could feel his breath and touched him. She smiles she could be crazy. Johnny has been around the block just like grandma Marlena and muses nothing is crazy ... Tony hears EJ's doubts about Ava and wonders about his plan. EJ talks tension but gets testy when Tony senses his attraction. EJ argues such a shareholder should not be on the board and admits he must oust one today. Tony gets it ... Chloe updates Brady on Kristen's almost letter opener attack, her threats. Brady refuses to let such a loon near his little girl ... Woman in red Kristen reminds Rolf he promised to program Stefan back to Chloe. She needs her out of the picture to know her daughter, whom Brady has been raising without her. She wants herself with Brady and Rachel while Stefan is with Chloe and they all live happily ever after. Rolf ominously notes but not Gabi ... Li and Gabi agree they are a great team. He points out profits are soaring and starts to seduce her. She grabs him right back right there on the desk ... EJ lists his votes and tells Tony if Ava's vote does not count it would work in his favor. Tony doubts Li would want to rock the boat with his vote so EJ boasts he took care of that ... Li’s old fashioned father angrily walks in on Li and Gabi on the company desk ... - Johnny and Ava continue their cute conversation in the crypt and she calls him cool. He wants her to be alright and calls her friend and family now. She laughs at his tough talk that sounds like a Vitali. She gets teary about Jake and Johnny feels for her sorrow. He then leaves to give her more time with her late husband ... EJ smugly tells Tony he has summoned Li's fatha to Salem to call a shareholders meeting that will change the balance of power in the favor of the DiMera family again. Johnny arrives and wonders ... Papa Shin is livid Li and Gabi got down and dirty on company property and time and sternly leaves. Gabi wonders why Li knew not his father was en route ... Kristen calls Brady and accuses him of being unfair. He counters she is unfair but she believes she can get full custody. He heard how she threatened Chloe with a letter opener. She warns they will put her on the witness stand. Brady warns her she will never get Rachel back now ... EJ claims his talk of restoration was about Stefano's portrait. He hears Johnny just saw Ava in the crypt and brings up her claim she saw Jake's ghost. Johnny solemnly notes she said it felt real. EJ acts sympathetic and Johnny praises him for being kind to her. He leaves and worldly Tony gives sneaky EJ a knowing look ... Ava gets emotional to Jake's plaque and promises to do all the things he had no chance to do. She does not seem to notice Stefan's plaque right next to his ... Kristen refuses to let Brady keep Rachel from her and orders Rolf to hurry. He assures her he will make sure Stefan's heart and mind are properly programmed for the plan. Kristen suddenly leaves after she realizes the big Mr. Lee has called a meeting ... Li informs Gabi that father has a history of checking on him. She gets a bad feeling. Papa Shin comes back and Li bows in apology. Gabi panics when the elder Shin coldly adds he has called a meeting of the DiMera shareholders to be held in this room ... - Ava comes upstairs to the DiMera brothers and is touched when EJ suggests a small service to remember Jake as soon as his ashes are interred. He pretends to be surprised when Head of the Board Shin summons all to a shareholders meeting. Ava is not so touched now ... Li assures anxious Gabi that former felon Kristen and former mob princess Ava would never impress his father ... Kristen comes in and assures Gabi she is on her side but she should worry which way the DiMera winds blow ... Chloe feels for Brady but fears what Kristen will do if she feels she is coming between her and Rachel ... The DiMera brothers arrive at the board meeting. Big Cheese Shin presides ... Rolf prepares to zap sleeping Stefan with his new life ... Brady believes Chloe would be more credible than Kristen to any judge so Chloe agrees to tell the judge what Kristen did and why she should not have custody of Rachel. Rachel, however, has overheard and accuses her of not wanting her to be with mommy ... Time to start the shareholders meeting but first ... EJ moves that Ava Vitali be disqualified as a shareholder and booted from the meeting. Johnny watches with disbelief. Ava suddenly realizes EJ has been playing her ... STAY TUNED! Luv Cathy |
