The blonde in the blue dress insists he help Shawn, who arrives for their lunch date. She asks hubby to attend an AA meeting with Brady ... Xander wonders when Sarah announces she must be honest ... about her and Rex ... At the pub Kate is relieved to see Rex not Philip. Meantime Chloe opens the door to her true love Philip, who assures her he is not dead. She feels he is real and then faints into his arms ... Kayla comes to see Marlena at the office. Marlena updates her on her and Roman's idea to accept Sloan. She is presently planning the shower. Kayla realizes Roman was unable to reach her with the tragic news ... Kate updates Rex on her concern that Philip could come home. Roman notes if he does ... Rex gasps Brady could see him! Roman drawls Brady would kill him or at least send him to the slammer for that great set up ... Phil assures woken up Chloe he is here for real and came to see her first. She assumes he was a hostage. He tells her the truth is he was in a European mental institution. He needed help after faking his death and framing Brady so he could not have her ... - Shawn is insulted as Belle brings up his boozing. He snaps AA has not seemed to help Brady and storms off. Brady tells Belle to let him leave and kisses his sad little sister's well meaning head ... Sarah starts to tell the truth but gets interrupted by a big contraction. Xander gets nervous she is in labor ... Marlena is stunned to hear Sloan lost the baby. Kayla explains Eric is with Sloan now, who is having tests. Marlena feels for her son. Enter upset Shawn seeking a meeting with Marlena ... Belle apologizes for the drama. Brady has been there and warns her nothing will change until Shawn decides so himself. He admits he considers Chloe agreeing to wed Xander another destructive decision ... Chloe regains her composure and starts to scream at Philip for his selfish deception. She accuses him of almost killing Brady and framing him. Philip insists he got better because Kate and Victor put in in a sanitorium. She is upset he was free and let Brady appear guilty and gets even more mad when he admits he was released a while ago. He explains he came home cos of Victor and cos he wanted to see her ... - Kate informs Rex she heard about him and Sarah from Chloe. Roman suggests their son was waiting to say something until it was serious. Rex states it is serious and they plan to wed ... Sarah gets mad at Xander as she howls from another labor pain and complains tis too soon. Xander rushes her to the hospital ... Kayla excuses herself. Marlena assumed she and Shawn had an appointment for tomorrow. He is here to cancel in person. No more therapy .... Xander now visits Salem patient Sarah in her room. She tells him the pain is much better. Enter medicine woman Kayla, who congrats them on the baby. Xander admits Rex is the bio dad. Kayla hears from Sarah that her contractions have ceased. Sha asks how far along she is. Sarah groans in fake pain. Kayla asks Xander to wait outside. Sarah states she feels better. Kayla asks again how many weeks along ... - Belle brings up Philip. Brady gets her concern but doubts he is alive. She admits she has never been able to accept his death ... Philip complains he felt dead while locked up and lost his father before he was gone. He admits he only wanted to own Chloe and regrets he can never fix things with Victor ... but wants to make things right with the coolest girl he ever knew ... Rex confirms Sarah said yes on the phone so he flew to Salem to surprise her. Roman hands him her fave scone on the house. Kate worries Rex is rushing. He drawls Sarah is having his baby and walks out ... Xander comes back and Kayla assures him the contractions stopped. She goes to ask a nurse to start her on IV. Sarah thanks Xander and he wonders wot she was about to tell him earlier ... Roman and Kate mull over Rex's strangely timed news. Kate hopes there are no more strange surprises in store ... Chloe shows Phil her engagement ring. He assumes tis from Brady and makes a face when he hears her fiancé is actually Xander! - Sarah decides to tell Xander ... Rex rushes in and interrupts. He wonders why Xander is here and hears he accompanied her to the hospital. Rex thanks him and tells the unborn to wait until he and Sarah have wed. Xander snaps WOT! ... Kate notes Rex never mentioned Sarah having his baby and is suspicious. They seem perfect on paper but she worries Sarah has no love for Rex ... Sarah covers by claiming she was about to tell Xander about being with Rex. Xander boasts about being engaged to Chloe and they wish him well. Rex assures him he can take over now and Sarah thanks Xander for his help. He goes and Sarah soap stares ... Marlena believes Shawn can still benefit from their sessions. He complains about Belle asking Brady to take him to AA and denies being a drunk. Marlena suggests seeking help for other reasons but he believes he is to blame for Bo's coma and Victor's death so there can be no cure ... - Brady and Belle discuss the drama. She assures him Chloe loves him but he needs to suck it up and support her decision to wed Xander. They conclude she will need her friends cos that coupledom can only go to hell ... Phil is aghast. Chloe argues Xander is a better man. He politely wishes her happiness and decides to depart. She tells him to wait and throws her arms around him. He closes his eyes and hugs his dream girl right back ... Belle visits Marlena at the office and hears what happened to Eric and Sloan. They agree tis sad. Belle worries she may have pushed Shawn too far ... Back in his new office Shawn gets out his gun and gets to thinking... Sarah assumes she was just stressed and admits she almost told Xander but the pain interrupted. Later fate intervened again when Rex arrived. She agrees to stick to their story. He whips out a ring and she babbles about not wanting controlling Xander involved with the the baby. He can never know he is the father. Rex slips the ring on her finger and they smile. Xander can see them through the window and looks tragic ... Chloe does not approve of what Phil did but is elated he is alive. He promises to take responsibility regardless of the consequences and opens the door to depart. There stands Brady, who looks like he has just seen a ghost! STAY TUNED! Luv Cathy |
