Kate updates Roman on Philip wanting to return to Salem. She set him straight by reminding him he set up Brady for his fake death. Roman insists he stay away so he does not get arrested. Kate sighs he said he would consider that. She recalls how obsessed he was with Chloe Lane and feels badly about keeping him away. Roman warns it is the only way they will be able to keep him out of trouble ... - Nicole stammers about her and EJ's engagement. Eric is surprised to hear how soon it will be. Melinda suggests what Sloan should say to Eric ... Kate agrees with Roman's idea to go see Eric at the hospital and they hug ... Xander enjoyed his haggis. Chloe hesitates but agrees to try since she will be a true Scotsman's wife. They exchange I love yous, smooch and he gets going to visit woman-in-mourning Maggie ... - Sarah is sorry for Maggie's loss but refuses to tell Xander about baby. She wants no bond with the man with one good side and one bad side. Rex is the man she chooses. The redhead wonders whether she even loves Rex. She will grow to love him and sadly suggests Xander can be happy with Chloe. Maggie gets his text and announces Xander is en route ... Outside Sloan's room Nicole confronts Melinda for suggesting there is a reason EJ should not marry her! The D.A. apologizes, wishes them a wonderful life and departs ... Eric asks how Sloan is feeling. She wants to finish what she started to say last night. She lies she could feel something was not right but she did not want to believe it. She blames herself for not calling the doctor. Eric tries to make her feel better and insists they still have hope. Nicole is a walking maternal miracle ... Sloan wants a hug so he obliges ... Xander sadly speaks about the late Victor with Maggie. She assures him the tycoon did respect him. He thanks her but does not believe it. Sarah appears and asks for a word. The redhead excuses herself after hugging the great Scot. Xander waits for Sarah to have her say ... Kate raises her martini to the late Victor. Roman returns and states he saw her son. REX ...
