Ava's beautiful mind continues to confuse her into believing tis Susan and she gasps to leave her alone ... At the pub Roman and Marlena remember Victor. Marlena blasted him for ruining Eric's life and even slapped him. She admits he made Salem ... interesting. Roman wonders about Brady. He now has to deal with Kristen and Rachel. Roman feels for him. Marlena admits Belle's family is having a hard time as well. Roman raises his cup and they toast their coffees to Victor. She gets into his phone and he wonders what she is doing with a grin. She covers sweetly and pretends she accidentally picked up his phone instead of hers, which was next to it. He asks for it back. She enjoyed last night. He teases this morning was great too. They kiss and she gasps she must go to court. She insists on showering alone and he looks at his phone, wondering what her game is ... Sloan insists Eric remain. Kayla sympathetically states she has an autoimmune disorder. They believe it caused the miscarriage but there are treatments available. She goes to get some printouts and is so sorry. Eric thanks her. Sloan sobs the universe is punishing her for the past ... EJ is sitting on the bed rubbing his head when Nicole enters to wish him a good morning. He looks like he saw a ghost. He did in his nightmare that was a replay of the night Ava murdered motha ... Ava accuses Midge of being Susan seeking revenge. She did not intend to off her and would not have driven off he road had her son been chasing her!! Harris asks Midge to go as Ava breaks down. He promises that was not Susan, that woman was a patient called Midge. Ava now sees he is right and apologizes. She cries she will never get better and he holds her ... - Nicole has selected a tie for dressed EJ, who kisses her. She asks and he admits he has had more than one nightmare about mama Susan. He suspects tis because he has not avenged her death. Meanwhile Ava is pretending to be unstable. Nicole believes she is not acting. EJ vows revenge on both Ava and her co-conspirator Xander Cook! Harris suggests she trust in Marlena aka the best around ... Roman and Marlena look forward to the new grandbaby. She suggests they plan a baby shower for Sloan, Eric and the baby. Roman refuses cos Sloan insulted his clam chowder, which helped his ancestors survive the great famine ... Eric wonders what Sloan did ... She flashes back to changing the test results so no one would know he was Nicole's baby daddy and cries about her bad acts. He wonders what she was about to tell him when she collapsed ... Phone Kayla insists Dr. Tripp stay home and rest. He is sorry to hear Sloan miscarried. Melinda appears and wants to hear all about it. Tripp looks annoyed. After ending the call Melinda probes. He refuses to discuss a patient's confidential problems. She snaps she is Sloan's friend and goes to find out for herself. Tripp curses ... Sloan is about to blurt out the truth to Eric when Kayla interrupts with printed info on her disorder. Sloan can still have a baby and it is a treatable but lifelong condition ... - Nicole warns EJ times have changed. A Vitali war would mean casualties. EJ promises to protect her and their baby but refuses to withdraw. He considers Ava a very clear and present danger ... Ava admits to Harris she wreaked Havoc for Marlena, who was close to Susan Banks and lists more crimes she committed that affected her. Harris has also done awful things but Marlena did not judge him. Ava heard she treated Ben Weston and so agrees he can call her. She approaches Midge to apologize but she bolts and Ava is left standing alone ... Marlena has been summoned. She ends her catch-up with Roman and asks him to call Eric cos they are throwing that baby shower. He chuckles at her tenacity. She will contact Kate with the details. Roman sighs and makes that call to their son ... Sloan wants to know the percentage risk. Eric gets a message from Roman. Sloan suggests he call back cos she could use some alone time. He kisses her and steps out. Once alone, she weeps. Enter Melinda, who heard Tripp on the phone. Sloan is furious for the invasion of privacy and doubts her sympathy is even sincere ... - Li is dressed and apologizes to Tripp if he and Melinda made noise. Tripp lies they never noticed and deduces they reconciled. Li is cautious cos she did try to trick him into a confession. But he finds her fascinating. Tripp heads out on a jog, Li takes out his phone ... As EJ puts on his gold watch, Nicole warns Susan would not support his revenge. She talks bad timing for their baby and future plans. He admits she is right about that and she heads to the hospital to pick up her prescription, reminding him to get their marriage forms at the courthouse. He agrees and scoffs about D.A. Task speaking in circles about why they should not wed ... Melinda is sincerely sympathetic. Sloan cries her baby is gone but Eric could still be a father. She decides to tell him today. Trask, however, warns against it ... Eric calls back Roman, who brings up Marlena's baby shower idea. Eric exclaims there can be no shower cos Sloan lost his baby! Nicole has just arrived and overhears ... EJ swears at the square when jogging Tripp causes him to drop his papers. He gets mad about his motha's crimes. Tripp accuses him of being partly to blame. He is sorry EJ lost his mother and insists Ava is getting better. He has high hopes she will eventually be released and warns EJ to deal with it. He jogs off and EJ leers we will see ... Ava thanks Marlena for coming. Harris suggests he and the good doctor speak in private. They head off together.
