Abe is famished and the family is now expected late. Here come lovely Lani, Eli and the babies .... Gabi is on a call with daughter Ari, who is with Will and Sonny. Here comes JJ. She explains she is alone in the kitchen to do the dishes. JJ announces he needs her help ... At Horton house Chad calls outside to the kids to keep in mind the family is coming. Here comes glam Julie, who complains about the Abigail imposter staying with them ... Cat is on a call with Aaron apologizing for the mess. She will try to get mom and Mark back and prays mom is still alive. Enter Jack and Jen just when she suggests she should be the one paying for her sins. Jack looks appalled. Jen approaches her arch enemy without a word ... - Paulina leaves Abe reading to the kids and comes out to talk to elegant Lani and Eli. Lani momentarily steps away to check on her children. Paulina is pleased she and Eli are alone. She wants to officially invite him back to the Salem PD so they can all be closer ... JJ has a plan that would involve Gabi pretending to be his late sister - if she is willing ... Julie assures Chad that Horton house is always welcoming but not to that girl when Jen and Jack are going to be here! Chad argues it is for Abigail ... Jack and Jen were not expecting to see Cat at Horton house. She babbles she was about to leave and apologizes. Jen smacks her across the face so hard the girl's head almost falls off and who can blame her. Jack stops his spitfire wife. Cat assures them she gets it. Jen rages about her horrible fraud that made them live a nightmare. Cat stammers she would go back and change things but she was desperate to save her mother. Jen wishes she would just leave and never come back! - Julie demands Chad explain himself. He mutters Clyde called demanding Cat. Julie agrees with that but Chad does not want her to die. Besides he is desperate to find Abigail's remains. He reveals he and JJ are working together ... JJ updates curious Gabi on Clyde's instructions to Chad that would see him and Cat in the line of fire. Gabi gasps. JJ explains Chad wants them to be the decoy couple ... Paulina really wants Eli and Lani to move home to Salem. They could be a Salem PD package deal. She continues to state her case. Eli grins. Lani comes back with Abe, who sang the little darlings to sleep. Paulina announces she wants Lani and Eli to return to the Salem PD. Lani thinks it would not be a good look given her history. Abe suggests Eli could work at the SPD and Lani could become Body and Soul's hottest new lady cop! - Smart cookie Gabi argues she looks nothing like Abi. JJ reasons in the past Abigail was able to pass for her when she wore a wig. She asks what is involved. So far JJ just knows they would need to check into the hotel as Chad and Cat. They would be a step ahead and he promises he would protect her. But he will understand if she says no ... Julie gets upset about JJ being involved. The buzzer goes off and Chad offers to get the roast out of the oven. Julie woefully smiles at a framed photo of Hope and Doug. Ring ring! Tis unseen unheard Hope. Julie returns her happy thanksgiving with a sad sigh ... Chad comes to Cat's side and apologizes to Jack and Jen. However, they need her help to find Abigail's body. Jen storms out and Jack follows her to the children ... Chad now gets a call from unseen unheard untraceable Clyde ... Lani teases she is no actress. Paulina already has ideas on who her super cop character would be connected to. Lani is thankful but already accepted a part time job at the preschool where she will be with the kids. Paulina persists. Eli assures her that moving back to Salem will be their end game but not yet. Lani seconds that and gives her mom a hug. Abe watches with approval ... Gabi considers. She remembers how Clyde terrorized her in the slammer and forced Stefan to partner up with Ava. She and Stefan would have stayed together if not for Clyde. So she is in it to sock it to Clyde ... - Phone Julie solemnly asks after Bo and sighs to Hope she is sorry. She is sure Bo feels she is there along with Shawn D. Doug is better and she believes he is resting but they miss their Hope ... Chad writes down Clyde's instructions and reminds him he will only get Cat once he gets the location of Abigail's remains. He hangs up. Cat wonders what Clyde said. Jack and Jen return. Jack suspiciously asks what about Clyde. Chad admits he must meet him. He already has the DiMera jet waiting. Jack worries cos they have no backup and here comes JJ, who assures Chad that he and Gabi are ready to be decoys. Jack is horrified. Jen refuses to allow it cos she already lost a child to that murderous man ... Eli and Lani promise to come home again soon. Meantime Lani has turkey cookies the kids helped make. Paulina is delighted and lists the other foods they have on the Carver menu today. Chanel will be home after her stuffy DiMera dinner. Eli promised to see Julie too. Abe and Paulina do not mind waiting with dinner. Paulina says to wish fellow matriarch Julie a marvelous Thanksgiving ... - JJ turns to his perturbed parents, pointing out tis his decision to partake in the Clyde case. Jen gasps Abigail is gone and JJ is taking a big risk. JJ reasons the biggest risk is if Clyde is still out there. Chad announces tis time to go. Julie enters and wonders why the long faces. She then sees and blasts Cat. Chad explains Clyde called and they must go to a meeting. JJ apologizes for missing dinner. Jack gasps to be careful and holds Jen, who warns Cat they had better come home safely or else ... Julie sighs she needs a smaller turkey. Jack tries to be upbeat about the mission. Julie asks him to wake up Doug for they need him to cut the turkey and do the blessing ... Paulina and Abe are ever so thankful to have their Lani back. They remember where they were a year ago and agree things are looking up ... Julie is joyous to see Eli, who brought by cookies the kids baked. She just sent Jack upstairs to wake up Doug ... Jack quietly tries to wake up Doug, who is covered with his cozy blanket. Jack leans over and then realizes he is not breathing or moving. Tragic music plays ... Jen hugs Eli downstairs and admits Chad and JJ are no longer at the house. Eli wonders where they went ... Chad asks the Horton plaque to help them bring Abi home. Here comes interloper Cat, who apologizes for earlier. He suggests they concentrate on getting Clyde. JJ and Gabi arrive. Gumption Gabi is all in. Chad is grateful. JJ too. Gabi now suggests Cat is to blame for the whole mess just as Julie did ... Back at Horton house it is quiet. Julie wonders why Jack did not bring Doug downstairs. Jack tragically sighs he is so sorry. He was unable to wake him up. Julie gasps in horror and drops an antique candlestick. It crashes to the floor ... Jack holds her as she gasps Oh God.
