Condescending Holly notes his nervousness and pretends he needs her pep talk... - Meanwhile mama Kristen informs Rachel the guard agreed she could hug her and they have a heartfelt reunion. She was arrested for child abuse and neglect and never had the chance to say goodbye before their little girl was removed from life support. Both their lives were ruined ... Rafe wonders how Steve's friend could be connected to Tesoro. Steve sighs his friend suspects he is the lad's biological dad. He wants to meet him if it is his child ... before any adoption. She gets testy and he accuses her of telling him lies ... Rafe recalls how Sophia's mother suggested Tesoro resembled her own son. In addition Javi noticed the baby was part Asian. Given the fact that Tate and Holly had had a baby around the same time, it did not seem a stretch. Steve admits Tate does not know that he and Brady suspect Tesoro is his son. Yet ... Javi remembers what a wreck he was. But family and friends got him back on his feet and he decided to dedicate his life to helping others by becoming a paramedic. Leo is proud of how he wanted to take in and help Tesoro. Alas giving him up makes him feel he is losing his child all over again. Leo holds him ... - Rachel finds out that Kristen told the warden she was here. Brady insists they return to school. She refuses to leave mommy again and stands at her side in defiance. Steve points out as per Tate toward the end of her pregnancy Sophia would not let him touch her belly to feel the baby kick sooo ... Rafe realizes she could have had padding but why the deception??? - Kristen tenderly tells Rachel she missed her but this is no place for her daughter. She belongs at home with daddy and suggests Smores needs her. Rachel will leave only if daddy agrees she can visit ... Javi shows Leo a photograph of his late little girl. He wishes he could adopt Tesoro but admits he would worry. Leo has his own checkered past and hopes Javi will overcome his fear of fatherhood one day. They share a heartfelt hug ... After the first class Holly teases Professor DiMera. Johnny wonders about Tate. She recalls how Rachel wanted to run away and heads off to find him ... Tate implores Sophia to speak the truth. The baby they had together means they will always have a bond ... Steve updates Rafe on Sophia's mom trying to make her keep the baby. When it came early the girl must have panicked. He and Rafe both feel for her on some level. Rafe deduces he needs him for a DNA test and would be happy to help in secrecy of course ... - Rafe now returns to his cozy kitchen and emotional Leo and Javi... Back at Statesville Brady asks Rachel to text and apologize to Marlena. She agrees and steps away. Brady now blasts Kristen, who blasts him right back and warns him he does not know anything. He still has no idea she was not EJ's real shooter ... Javi must return to work so Leo leaves the baby with Rafe so he can walk Javi out. Rafe gets to work with the swab.
