Leo wonders who did ... Vivian condescendingly suggests housewife Gabi stay home but Gabi refuses to let her replace her. Viv warns not to underestimate her. Gabi talks back. Vivian hisses she will sorry she stood in her way ... Stefan repeats his story to Jada, who found Kristen's prints on the gun as well as Dimitri's. Alex reads her that Victor left him controlling interest. The redhead reasons he did not say he wanted him to be CEO. Alex, however, is pulling rank ... Suited Stefan pretends to be surprised. Jada talks tough. Gabi comes running and outs Vivian as the real shooter ... Vivian opens her purse and wonders where her little gun is. Downstairs Gabi gives Jada Vivian's bagged gun. Stefan bites his silver tongue... Kristen denies knowing who shot Dimitri and reminds Leo he screwed over his bestie. Leo gets catty right back and goes to check on the man he loves ... Gwen intimidates Dimitri with the scalpel that was left out by suggesting she might cut off his magic ... He implores her not to and she continues to taunt. He yells for help and Leo interrupts ... - Stefan wants to know what Gabi is trying to do. She refuses to cover for his gun toting mama. He denies she is gun toting. Viv flounces in wondering where her gun went. Jada is all ears ... Alex argues he is entitled to the top job. Maggie wonders whether tis payback. Negative. He is up for the top job and believes it was what Vic would want ... Vivian insists it was self-defense. Stefan confirms Dimitri wanted to off himself and Gabi. Mama Vivian intervened. Gabi confirms and adds they want charges against Dimtri. They agree to testify. Jada warns Vivian that the gun possession will still have to be reported to her parole officer. She leaves and Viv gives Gabi a stony stare ... Marlena is on the phone with John, marveling tis true Sue is alive. Kate arrives at her office to talk Philip. She is upset he is leaving Salem with Chloe ... Leo snaps at Gwen to stop the insanity and put down the scalpel. It breaks his heart to see her wanting to do something so cruel. He blames himself for hurting her and is sorry. She weeps he was her bestie. Leo blames himself for the sabotage of his one true friendship. He loves Gwen and was lucky to have her as his friend. He begs to make it up. She forces a smile and sniffles no, telling them both to rot in hell. Then she walks away ... - Maggie suggests she and Alex be co-CEOs and argues Victor would approve. Alex warns her he has controlling interest and could have the board remove her if she does not comply ... Stefan is upset Gabi gave his mother to the cops but warns Viv the parole violation could bring the US marshals to haul her back to the slammer. Vivian sighs she must leave Salem. Gabi voices her relief and Vivian glares daggers ... Kristen runs into Gwen and assures her she did not shoot Dimitri. They wonder who did. Jada arrives at the nurse's station and announces it was Vivian Alamain, who was about to shoot Stefan and Gabi dead. She is here to arrest Dimitri. Gwen is delighted to hear it ... Maggie calls Alex callous. She meant it when she said he reminded her of Victor but them teaming up would not work anyway so she leaves. Alex looks a tad sad for a guy who just got what he wanted ... Kristen gushes to Gwen now they can get Dimitri's Von Leuschner fortune ... Dimitri gives Leo the whole story about Vivian shooting him cos he had a gun on Stefan and Gabi. They kiss. Leo assumes they have nothing to worry about. Jada clears her throat ... Kristen coos the real wife can get the Von Leuschner family fortune. Gwen decides to depart Salem to go after that inheritance. Kristen cackles ... Vivian says a sad farewell to Stefan. She will go to Alamania and promises she will always rise like the phoenix from the ashes. She looks at Stefano's portrait ... - Back in Marlena's office, Kate sighs she wanted her son to stay in Salem and will miss him ... Maggie misses Victor something awful and cries at the mansion ... Alex sighs to his father's photo and assumes he left him this opportunity so he would seize it. Now he places his name plate on his desk, where he sits all alone as the CEO ... Leo and Dimirtri are aghast as Jada announces her intent to arrest Dimitri for attempted murder ... Back at DiMera mansion Vivian is gone with the Salem wind. Gabi gets sarcastic. Stefan states she is still his mother and he feels for her. Gabi believes she brings nothing but misery so she did him a favor ... Vivian is at the airport in her big hat and boards her flight for Europe. Gwen bids Salem goodbye and also boards her flight for Europe. She will be back ... Seconds later Brady appears and tells Teresa to hurry. The new Teresa follows with her bags and a sigh.
