He wants this man to track and off Ava ... Ava and Harris ask Susan to send a psychic signal before Edmond pulls his trigger ... Edmond pulls his gun on Rafe and Tripp when Rafe wants to look around cos he has secret guests ... EJ believes Ava is either a loon or wants him to believe his motha is alive. He just wants her dead ... Colorful Sue gets a vibe and sees Edmond has a gun on Rafe and Tripp. She updates horrified Ava and Harris ... Edmond hears Tripp is Ava's son and wants to off him because of wot his motha did to his beloved Susan. Rafe tries to calm him down. Obsessed Edmond now sounds like he wants to shoot both men dead ... - Ava screams to Tripp, worried about the danger he is in. Sue states the room is soundproof. Ava appeals to hunky heroic Harris to help ... The thug agrees to off Ava but explains she went awol. EJ leers he has another target for him to take down in the meantime. Xander Cook aka Ava's accomplice ... Rex complains to Phil that Xander should be in jail given what he did to Susan and others. He knows Sarah will not let him near their daughter ... unless he brings Susan Banks back to life ... Chloe senses Xander wants to try again with Sarah but he denies it given how Sarah betrayed him. He believes the songbird is better for him and wishes she would stand by him while he fights Sarah for his paternal rights. Chloe's expressive eyes flicker ... EJ still blames Xander for Susan's death and wants Rex to be the fall guy. It would be believable given the conflict and bad blood between the two men ... Rex does not blame Chloe for revealing what she overheard. That included Phil's love for her. He wonders and Phil admits she came clean about still caring for him just like the old days ... - Xander contacted a custody lawyer who said he should stay in Salem. He still wants to wed Chloe. She cries she has had a change of heart ... Harris promises to break the chain and save Ava's son. Susan insists Ava join her in powerful prayer. The chain breaks ... Evil Edmond is about to send Tripp to hell when Harris leaps in and overpowers the loon ... Ava and Sue hear a shot and Ava screams ... Harris gives Rafe the gun and takes Tripp to his mom. Rafe calls the Yard and informs Edmond he is under arrest .. Harris now brings Tripp to Ava and a poignant mother and son reunion ensues. He marvels Susan is alive. Grateful Susan agrees to make EJ back off from Ava as soon as she sees him ... Back in Salem EJ updates his hitman on Rex pretending he was the baby daddy of Sarah's daughter. He can be collateral damage ... - Unsuspecting Rex informs Phil he always thought Phil and Chloe were meant to be. Phil blames his bad actions in the past for the breakup. Things are different now and Chloe knows how he feels so he will wait. Rex sighs both their love interests can either choose them or Xander the thug. Phil feels everything is in their favor ... Xander insists he did not reconcile with Sarah. Chloe comes clean about Phil's declaration of endless love. She never stopped having feelings for him and when he showed up alive they came flooding back. He wonders whether she wants to be with him. She is torn and needs time. He woefully understands. She tells the great Scot she loves him and loved being with him. She believes just as she is not over Philip, Xander is not over Sarah. She will move out of his place tomorrow. She walks out in tears. The great Scot sighs ... - Rafe is amazed when a very alive Susan appears. Crumb still claims he knows not who the man was who called and had two thugs bring her to him. Sue is still spooked she knows not who her enemy is and whispers they are still somewhere out there ... The following day EJ calls his hitman, who is ready to deal with his orders. EJ wants an update when the deed is done. Meanwhile Rex is at the pub again, arguing with Kate, who warns Sarah is using him. She also warns papa Xander will pose a problem. He gets a sudden text summons from Xander and storms off ... Black dress Chloe has her suitcase packed and will return another time for the rest. Xander gives her their iconic dartboard and she is touched. They share a teary embrace, then she gives him a kiss goodbye and leaves from his life ... - Back at DiMera mansion EJ toasts to fatha and leers Ava is next. Much to his shock Ava appears with a smile ... Tripp is at the station and thanks Rafe for helping Ava. Rafe still believes she and Harris belong at least in Bayview but now knows of EJ's hit and vows to make him pay ... Ava says hello, tells EJ she knows he tried to have his hitwoman off her and vows to end things now. He wonders. Harris and smiling Susan walk in and his stubborn jaw drops ... Chloe meets Phil at the park and states she is moving away from Salem ... The hitman gets into Xander's apartment pretending to be from the gas company, who suspect a leak. Knock knock!
