He was wheeled into surgery. He has lost blood and a bullet must be removed. Leo is worried, sees Gwen and accuses her of coming to finish off the man he loves ... Viv sighs to Stefan and Gabi she is not supposed to have a gun as she just got out of the slammer. Stefan wonders what to tell the cops. Viv suggests Gabi take the credit. Gabi disagrees. Viv appeals to her son since she did it to save him. Here come the Salem PD. Madam hides the gun under her hands ... Belle updates Marlena on Shawn spending the night away from home, how he crashed at the pub for the night. Marlena does the math and realizes he was likely Talia's one night stand. She gasps oh God. Belle is cautiously optimistic about a bright future ... - Stefan is ready for the Salem PD. He smoothly states he and Gabi came downstairs after hearing a gunshot and found Dimitri but no shooter. Shawn asks Vivian. Stefan answers she showed up later and saw nothing! Jada wants to know who would want to harm Dimitri. They all act innocent ... Leo warns Gwen he will not let her near Dimitri. Leo sits at Dimitri's side and tells the unconscious Salem patient he loves him and will stay at his side forever. Gwen leaves Kristen an anxious message hoping she did not go rogue amd shoot Dimitri ... Vivian thanks Stefan after the cops are gone and woefully updates him and angry Gabi on Victor's new will leaving her out. She coos now she has a son who looks after his adoring mother. Gabi looks exasperated ... - Marlena has summoned Talia back to her office and accuses her of failing to mention her one night stand was with Marlena's son-in-law ...
