Inside the pub Lucas excitedly tells Roman he is reviewing his contract with Johnny. Roman sighs he withdrew his support since John warned it would stir up memories that might harm Marlena ... At the square Johnny quotes romantic sonnets to stylish Chanel. She heard about EJ investing in his film from Allie. Johnny wants to talk to Allie but Chanel warns she wants Marlena to agree. Johnny grins his grandmother is already on board. Meanwhile Marlena has morphed into Lucifer's laughing loon. They are one now. John knocks on the bedroom door ... Allie is happy when Tripp arrives early at the apartment. Alas she has no food ready and he suggests takeout. Then he spies her movie contract, which she will not sign until Marlena also signs off, which seems unlikely... Chanel is shocked by Marlena’s about-face. She insists on a family dinner, much to her sons’ dismay ... Chloe claims tis only a step back not a bona fide breakup. She still feels Phil could get his act together and tells doubting Brady she will not give up so easily on her high school romance ... Johnny and Chanel arrive at Nicole's apartment for Allie. He does think she seems different and adds Kayla has concerns cos she is keeping Julie away from Doug at Bayview. He demands to know why. Strange music plays ... Johnny teases seamstress Tripp the future doctor. Allie signs on the dotted line and Johnny is ready to start filming. Allie admits it feels strange to be playing Sami... Lucas suggests Phil and Chloe have a cooling off period. Kate fumes they are finished. Lucas believes Chloe will come back after Phil lets her have space. Kate hisses best to be rid of her but Phil cannot let go ... - Brady will support Chloe and adds she needs a new place to stay. He boldly offers his own place ... Marlena gets miffed hubby is trying to meddle in her treatment of Doug. She claims he is a clear and present danger. John repeats what Kayla said and she gets strangely testy ... He gallantly gets her bags ... Server Roman is ignoring Kate. Lucas asks Phil for a walk when he decides he is done. After the guys go, Kate wonders why Roman is so snarky. He wishes she would act like he is her friend, not a bad waiter and adds he gets she is not into him. Kate sighs he was spot on about Jake and it stung. Roman sits with his complex ex and assures her he would never say I told you so. He would say how sorry he was and what a fool Jake was. Kate admits she is hesitant to put herself out there again. She praises how he reads her mind and makes her laugh. She fears she could fall for him again but right now she is not really ready. She calls him attractive and he grins good start. He will respect her need for space now unless she needs chowder. Kate thanks him and he tells her to take her time getting over jerk Jake cos when she is herself again it will be worth the wait ... Phil spies Chloe and Brady entering the Salem Inn as he carries her heavy luggage. - Allie loves that Tripp sewed Henry’s initials into his blue baby blanket and kisses him ... Johnny walks with his arm draped around diva Chanel and brings up her role. She smiles she would love to be Celeste the clairvoyant for she saw the evil in Salem first ... John backs off. Doc politely thanks him and returns to reading as he goes to the kitchen to get them some dinner. Once alone the devil takes off the sunglasses and grins unbeknownst to John, he can alter his appearance anytime anywhere.
