Abe admits to Nicole he is anxious about Paulina's expectations. She advises her old friend and mentor to live in the moment cos Paulina is crazy about him. He likes being friends again and Nicole asks for a hug. She wishes him luck and they agree to speak again soon ... Chanel questions Paulina about the veggies and Johnny ushers her out. Before she goes she assures mama Abe's strong feelings for her will return. Johnny adds they were meant to be just like them ... Kate and Marlena catch up with a glass of wine at the pub. They discuss Abe and Paulina's big date. Marlena marvels Abe will fall in love with her again. Kate brings up Chad and hopes he and Steph will continue being a happy couple too ... - Chad and Steph greet Teresa at the bistro. She calls Alex her date when he comes in after parking the car. Chad can relate as he was stunned to learn Stefano was his father. Alex alludes to Teresa also having her life turned upside down ... Tate gasps oh my God and apologizes for the almost kiss. Holly is fine being friends but already cares for someone she hopes likes her. They agree to be friends only. He wonders how long she has liked the other guy. She loves it and goes to get the popcorn ready after he reassure her Abe and Paulina's romantic revival will take this time ...Ding dong! Paulina opens her door to Abe, who smiles she looks beautiful. She praises the wine he brought. He loves the smell of the ... lamb chops, says she. He gets out a decanter for the wine and she marvels he REMEMBERED where it was because he bought it after they were wed and said it could stay there! He does not remember but Paulina gushes it must be a sign ... At the square Nicole ends a call with Brandon and then sees Tate, who admits he just met a great girl but now feels silly. He assumed she liked him but she gave him the brushoff cos she is interested in someone else ... Holly is happy to see Johnny is about to watch a movie and sits beside him on the DiMera sofa. Chanel comes out with the popcorn. Holly hears they reconciled and tries to hide her disappointment .... Back at the bistro Steph and Chad sit at their table. He was surprised to see Alex and Teresa together but not Steph, who suspects the money must be her motivation ... Alex thanks Teresa for insisting he come out tonight instead of hiding in his work.
