Alex thanks him and vows not to blow it ... Sloan shows up at Paulina's office. Leo says to make an appointment next time. She wants her money. He says tomorrow. She issues a threat from her associates so he goes to the safe to get her the money. Paulina was going to take care of it. Also in the safe Sloan spies the PRICE file that Alex stole from her ... Shawn is now having lunch with Doug and Julie. Spiffy Abe appears and admits if Paulina wins governor he will not remain mayor. They will live in the capital together. Paulina arrives with upsetting news ... Sonny gets embarrassed when Leo shows up teasing his yoga pose. He then suggests he get ready for a dinner date. Leo feels he owes him for recognizing Clyde, thus keeping le Leo out of the slammer ... Chad admits to an attraction but is still mourning Abigail and is not ready for anything serious. He may have overstated to Alex and appears embarrassed. Steph appreciates the sincerity. Chad will be a supportive friend if she chooses to be with Alex. Steph agrees they should get to work ... - Paulina complains about some small biz owners not voting for her. Here comes Steph with Chad and an idea ... Later that night Paulina hands Abe a call from Lani ... PR princess Steph tells her they are doing better. Abe comes back cos the race was called and he won. Cheers ensue ... Back at the Kiriakis mansion Alex teases GQ Sonny but is stunned to hear he is going out with Leo Stark. Sonny states he is just thanking him for clearing him of murder. Leo also wants to celebrate his new job. He insists he is not out for romance. Alex is hoping to sweep Steph off her feet ... The team hear Paulina won. Leo does a happy dance. Abe hugs the first lady of his life. Chad sneaks a hug with smiling Stephanie. Allie and Chanel happily hug too ... Abe begins his speech at the square, touched by the support of Salem's citizens. Alas he must step down and hand the reigns to his deputy mayor as his wife Paulina Price was elected governor. They will live together at the state capital. He gives his wonderful wife the floor. Applause ensues. She thanks the campaign staff, hubby Abe as well as Lani and Chanel. She summons Chanel to her side and the new first family are photographed ... Julie is looking at photos of the old days at Horton house. Dapper Doug wishes his darling a happy anniversary with a small cake for 57 years. She wonders what anniversary and he teases her life of crime. Then they hug ... Sonny arrives at the square and congrats Leo, who calls himself an A list gay. They head off for dinner. Chad woefully watches Alex escort Steph away to their bistro dinner date ... Sloan sips a martini alone and leers Miss Price should enjoy it while it lasts ...
