The new Sweet Bits girl assumes smiling arriving Stefan is her fiance ... Wendy updates phone Johnny on Kristen implicating Li in their conversation. She whispers she will go through the papers Li left on the table but before she reads anything suited EJ enters, suspiciously asking HOW he may help her ... Gabi calls Stefan her ex hubby. Stefan drawls they did not work out and boasts he is about to take Chloe to lunch. He suggests he taste the samples here first ... Li the smooth talker praises Chloe for her ... profits. Brady boasts she is the best but is stunned when Li dangles a job at DiMera corporate. He scoffs t'was Kristen's idea ... EJ intros himself. Wendy greets Mr. DiMera and ends her call with worried Johnny. EJ wonders to whom the young lady was speaking ... - Li denies doing Kristen's bidding and points out she has no position at DiMera as EJ terminated her. Chloe is intrigued ... Alex talks the magic of Eric and Nicole and offers to be the photographer. Eric notes they need him as a photographer. Alex boasts he interned at Bella. But first he will try test shots to find out if his concept is spot on. He steps away and asks Brady back for the suit. Li is now left alone with Chloe ... Gabi quips these are samples for her wedding. Stefan pokes fun since the groom to be is not present. Gabi gets testy and taunts they will wed asap ... Wendy apologizes for calling a Hong Kong friend. EJ talks time difference. She stammers said friend is in Fairbanks where she used to work. EJ heard she was ambitious and admits he overheard her interest in brother Li's papers too ... Johnny points out to Stefano's stern portrait he always said family should stick together. Sue appears and agrees. She speaks often to the other side. However Johnny should not listen if Stefano the meeeeen man replies. Jovial Johnny welcomes her back and takes her hands. Sue suddenly senses he really IS out to get Elvis ... Wendy wants Li to join the cloud crowd, which would be less of a security risk. EJ assures her only the few at the top have company access to documents storage ... - Li claims Chloe would bring a fresh voice to the DiMera executive suites. She is suspicious about someone else suggesting her. Li is aware of Stefan's interest in her and would not mind Stefan being busy with her instead of bothering his bride. But this was a biz decision and Stefan was not involved ... Meanwhile Gabi informs Stefan she confronted Rolf, who convinced her he had done nothing to make her ex hate her. Stefan seems surprised she bought it. She argues Rolf had no reason to lie. He concludes now they can go their separate ways and reaches for some cake. Gabi exclaims the cake is for her and her groom. Stefan complains after THEY said I do she kicked him out cos she never cared so he did not get to eat cake. Their wedding meant nada to her. Gabi gasps tis not true ... Eric and Nicole are uneasy. He does not want to cause trouble with Rafe and offers to say no ... Johnny acts innocent but grandma Sue is no fool and EJ is her son. Johnny snaps he was the one who got wronged ... Wendy suggests Li could be more efficient with better organized papers. EJ welcomes her aboard. She asks to see the records of the DiMera jet as some of Li's numbers are off. He agrees to get her into the system ... Sue is stunned to hear Johnny believes EJ had brother Stefan's memories of his love and life with Gabi erased so as to keep the power at DiMera. Now Gabi thinks her ex hates her. Sue is a firm believer in true love. Johnny too which is why he must do something. Sue senses he is really going after revenge due to how EJ broke up his almost love connection with Ava Vitali ... Johnny tries to swear her to secrecy but EJ interrupts and demands to know about WOT ... - Gabi insists her marriage meant something but at the start the plan was to ruin Stefan's life as he ruined hers. Then something happened. Stefan wants to hear more. She recalls how she was unfairly accused and languished in the slammer, then remembers the victory slice of their cake, which was sweet and bitter. He takes a bite of the chocolate cake sample with the same flavors and smiles tis good, then feeds her a bite. She whispers tis even better than ... Casually dressed Brady comes back to Chloe as Alex talks up the brilliance. Alex returns to the anxious talent, insisting their stories will make the shoot great. Eric and Nicole agree to at least shoot the cover ... Chloe accepts the new job at DiMera corporate for a fresh start. Elated Li explains the office will be in touch and leaves. Brady has doubts ... Fast worker Wendy discovers that Li requested a list of all DiMera pilots who flew out of the US in the past five years. She calls the travel department and gets that list sent to her, using her brother’s name to carry weight ... Li interrupts the sweet stare between Gabi and Stefan at the square. Stefan sighs Gabi was waiting for her groom and warns against the hazelnut cake which ends with a bitter taste. Gabi woefully watches him walk away ... Alex snaps away as Nicole and Eric pose together. He tells Nicole to look into Eric's eyes and marvels at the endless sizzle that is Ericole ... Brady never wanted things to be this way and Chloe cries what is he trying to say. He suddenly stops and wishes her well ... Li and Gabi try the cakes and she agrees on something extra sweet ... Wendy calls Johnny and leaves a message of the list she has. She will be able to track down where Li sent Dr. Rolf. Then they will know what EJ and Li did to Stefan!
