At the mansion morose EJ ignores Rafe's message to let him have a statement and drowns his heartbreak with drinks ... Stephanie sits at the candlelight table with Alex and they discuss the latest drama. She credits him and Justin with saving the day for Bonnie ... Marlena enters the mansion to see EJ. She is deeply sorry for his and Johnny's loss. EJ has yet to tell his out of town son and blames himself for everything ... Li and Gabi have a low key Thanksgiving with Rafe, who gets the beers. Li is grateful for the invite. Rafe reminds him he will be family soon. Ari has stayed over at Sonny's. Gabi blames Nicole for being a fool to get him go and warns she will regret it ... Eric pours himself a coffee and teases Jada who is enjoying her pie. He is pleased she is keeping their baby and promises to be a great dad. She wonders what Nicole will say about her keeping the baby ... - Nicole runs into elegant Abe and Paulina outside the Salem Inn and asks about Chanel. They update her on Allie and Chanel's Thanksgiving and Paulina suggests they sit down together and enjoy leftovers. Nicole would love to ... Alex does not feel like a hero. He and Steph discuss the crazy clown on the loose and she laughs when he insists he would never let bozo get his girl. He now shows her the main course and she gushes about Grandma Jo's stuffing muffins she already knows and loves ... Marlena wonders why EJ believes he is too blame. Cos Ava was getting revenge on him for exposing her fake marriage and stealing her shares. Marlena uses the f word regarding Ava. Fraud. EJ admits he also made her leave Salem since his son was sweet on her. She came back and kidnapped Susan but he refused to take her threats seriously so now mama Sue is no more. Tis his fault just as it is his fault he did not take the threat of Clyde seriously which led to Abigail's death. He believes he has blood on his hands for both losses and laments not listening to Tony. He let down the beloved mother who loves him unconditionally. Marlena argues Sue would not want to see him blaming himself. He weeps she deserved betta and raises his eyes to the heavens ... = Gabi deduces Nicole is with Eric for the day and is shocked to hear she brought Rafe a pumpkin pie that he tossed in the trash. Li is disappointed about the pie. Gabi rages about her breaking her brother's heart so she can live happily ever after with Eric. Rafe reveals it might not be so simple ... Eric believes he can get Nicole on board with their baby plans but Jada doubts it ... Abe and Paulina perceive Nicole's stress so she updates them on Jada having Eric's baby, how she and Eric told Kate and Roman they would raise the child together. Paulina wonders what Eric said about his future with Nicole, who deduces he will drop her to be a dad to his and Jada's baby ... EJ regrets not being the good son Sue deserved. Marlena assures him he was Elvis the light of her life. He recalls how fearless she was and Marlena the sage states one should never underestimate the love a mother has for a child ... Gabi is smug to hear about Eric's almost ex girlfriend being preggers cos Nicole has that payback coming. Rafe feels for Jada. Gabi gushes Eric should get back together with her so Nicole loses. She decides to send the proud parents a baby gift. Rafe stops her cos tis too soon and one should not gloat. He suggests a change of subject so Li brings up their wedding plans. Rafe toasts the pair and wishes them love and laughter. They toast as strange music plays ... - Paulina feels for Nicole, who sighs Eric wanted children and assumes he is trying to give the baby a stable home. Abe suggests she speak to Eric but she is convinced he already replaced her with the baby mama. Meanwhile Eric promises Jada he will explain the situation to Nicole. He talks Jada into keeping her room above the pub and offers to help before and after the baby arrives. She asks about Nicole. He believes the baby will bring them all together in time. Jada agrees to remain at the pub at least for the time being ... Abe urges Nicole to speak to Eric instead of assuming he no longer wants to be with her. Paulina offers to put Eric in his place ... Tis almost time for dessert. Alex gets the go ahead to kiss Stephanie again and promises the next date will be even better. She purrs it was perfect ... Marlena marvels how warm Susan the original was. She even made a miniature doll of her in her old wedding dress when she wed John. EJ admits he got his temper from papa Stefano but the part of him that was the very best was from her. He smiles ... Alex and Steph keep smooching ... Rafe tells his guests to get to the table. He will be there soon but first dumps his and Nicole's framed photograph in a drawer with a slam ...Nicole appreciates Abe and Paulina's support. Paulina points out she must fight ... Jada goes upstairs to rest. Eric will see Nicole after he goes to see how mama Marlena is. Meanwhile as Marlena places Susan's doll on the mantle ...
