He greets glum Rafe ... Eric and Nicole smooch like the old days and Jada gets an eyeful ... Bonnie believes she came here by chance but Sue believes it was the lord saving her from the big bad clown ... Ava cannot reach Tripp so she calls EJ and threatens to kill him if he hurts her son on his voice mail. Charlie suggests EJ won and warns not to be weak ... Steve hears Rafe's tale of woe about Eric causing conflict n his marriage. The dude argues Nicole and Eric are friends but Rafe still senses a love connection - the kind that never ends ... Heartbroken Jada leaves unseen. Eric stops. Nicole knows they have wanted this for months ... Charlie seems smug. Ava gets a text ordering her to release Susan for EJ to release her son. He now hears Eric's girlfriend Jada has been keeping him in the loop whenever she sees the ex lovers together ... Eric insists he and Nicole simply lost their heads but Nicole has wanted to kiss him forever. She cannot fight the feeling and suggests he wants her as well. He believes the attraction is because they were married. He reminds her how he came home to tell her how he felt but she was already with Rafe. Now he is with Jada. Nicole knows they belong together. Eric insists it matters that she is married ... Cool dude Steve suggests Rafe speak to Nicole. The key is communication as he and Kayla know. Rafe gets it. Jada enters and looks a little rattled. She asks for a word with Rafe. Steve discreetly departs. Jada sits down with a sigh ... - Charlie snatches Ava's phone and tells her EJ is bluffing. Ava worries he could hurt her son. Charlie suggests she try and be as ruthless as EJ right now. That is the only way to win ... Bonnie grabs a pitchfork but clown Xander comes closer ... Back at the main house Maggie gets Sarah to tell Victor about Xander's new pharmaceutical start up position. Victor has never heard of it ... Bonnie is now bound and gagged with Susan ... Ava summons Steve and tells him tis an emergency ... Rafe wonders what is the matter. Jada just witnessed Eric and Nicole. He says he saw them as well and is annoyed about the modeling. Jada stands up tired and suddenly passes out. Rafe catches her ... Nicole cries she loves Rafe but really only married him to forget Eric. She feels badly so Eric reminds her he did not treat her well after they wed, given how he left the country. She loves him but weeps she will accept his decision. Either way she owes it to Rafe to end things for she only wants Eric. He tenderly kisses her and they embrace again both now crying tears of torment ... for such is their fate from every writing team ... Bonnie gets her gag off and screams to wake the dead but they are far from the main house ... Xander returns to the house and explains to suspicious Vic that he has never heard of the company that hired him cos tis a start up. He wishes Maggie a happy anniversary and tells Sarah he took care of his work emergency. Sarah gets summoned to the hospital. Maggie insists Xander stay and break bread with Victor. She wants to find Bonnie ... Ava shows Steve the picture EJ texted her of their abducted son and he is enraged ... Eric tells Nicole to stay. She asks about Jada. He will be honest about still loving Nicole. The star crossed lovers swear they will not mess up this time. Rafe now calls and summons him to the hospital. Jada collapsed ... - Steve ends a call with Joe. Tripp told his brother he was camping. He senses EJ did not have their son taken far from Seattle. He starts to suspect there is more to the story but tight lipped Ava tells him not to confront EJ. He wonders why the hell not ... Bonnie is desperate to find her phone ... At the big house Xander slyly suggests he heard Maggie's phone. She reads a fake text from Bonnie - that he clearly sent - stating she was Chicago bound. Maggie makes hubby congratulate him on his new job and walks Xander to the door ... At the hospital worried Eric wants to know why Sarah fainted. Dr. Sarah ordered tests so they will know soon. Eric goes in to see her. Rafe turns as Nicole arrives ... Victor is happy to have Maggie to himself on their anniversary and they snuggle on the sofa, agreeing they are lucky ... Clown Xander returns to the women in the shed and taunts Bonnie with the text he sent Maggie. He states as soon as Sue's son pays they will both be freed. Bonnie realizes she knows him when he mentions Mimi so he gags her again and shouts to shut up ... Steve accuses Ava of hiding something. She implores him to find their good boy. He will and he will bring him home safe and sound. Ava hugs him in thanks ... Nicole hears from Rafe that Eric is with Jada ... Eric senses something is bothering Jada ... Rafe takes Nicole to another room to apologize for overreacting to the cover shoot. She admits he was right. She wants to be with Eric.
