He discusses the suspects in who shot EJ with boss lady Jada ... Rafe has found Leo's silly suspects list at the house and he is not amused ... He is livid both he and Gabi are on said list and glares at his houseguest ... Gabi summons Javi to her office and blasts him for the tiny typos. He apologizes and wonders what is really the matter ... Tate pays sad resting Sophia a visit. He wonders how she feels. Like her life is over ... Gabi is sorry she was snappy. Javi is sympathetic. She shares her stress that Leo and JJ are both trying to link her to EJ's shooting ... Leo swears he is legit these days. Rafe warns him to back off Gabi cos she was twice wrongly accused - and makes it clear he could easily get rid of him ... Jada gets how mad Gabi must have been when she was hoodwinked by that awful Arnold. Shawn starts to wonder ... - Woman in red Gabi is still mad that Javi defended Leo snooping inside her purse. He assures her he knows she did not shoot EJ. She sighs and decides to go get some food. Javi agrees to make the sales report a power point and they hug. Then she leaves and he sits at her desk. Enter grinning Leo with a bag ... Holly leaves another message for awol almost bff Doug ... who is busy at the pub filling out paperwork for Roman. Ro senses something. Alas he has no address. He is staying at the homeless shelter and assumes he blew it by saying so. Ro tells the lad to sit down and insists he has nothing to be ashamed of. He adds he has rooms for rent too ... - Sophia hates her bed rest orders and complains about her mom taking over again. Tate reminds her she is almost 18 and could put the baby up for adoption if she so desired ... Jada tells Shawn to just ask her if she shot EJ ... to clear the air ... Alas Doug has no money for a room. Roman recalls his adopted younger brothers having a tough time before they were taken in by his family. He tells Doug he deserves a chance. He will loan him first and last month's rent and take it out of his pay weekly. Doug grins and they shake on it. He promises his new boss he will not regret it ... Sophia had not considered defying her mom and reasons it would be the right move cos they are young and want to go to college. She is ready to stand up to her meddling mom! Tate is elated ... - Javi warns Leo to leave cos he is not welcome here. Leo admits Rafe saw his suspects book and the names in it. Javi is aghast. The Gabi comes back. Needless to say she is NOT amused. She assumes Leo used Javi to get into her office and orders cuz to make him leave. Then she snatches Leo's lunch and storms out ... Shawn recalls how he came across Jada without the gun in her holster that fateful night but he knows she shot no one. She admits she felt like killing EJ but left her weapon locked in her drawer. She was not his shooter ... - Rafe is having another beer in his kitchen when Shawn calls. He and Jada were wondering when he was planning to return his service weapon. Rafe scoffs that as per the police it really belonged to Arnold but he will get it back to him soon. He is busy preparing for his return to FBI work ... Holly gets a call from Tate, who bears big news and suggests they meet. They agree to be at the Brady pub in 30 minutes. After his call Sophia comes back and wonders where he is headed in such a hurry. Then she realizes he wants to tell Holly and plays along. He leaves and her eyes fill with tears. Only the baby has been keeping them together ... - Leo sweeps into the station with his usual panache to pester Jada and Shawn for a comment on the investigation. His latest suspects list includes Rafe, Gabi and Jada. Shawn and Jada are not amused ... Rafe downs more ale in his kitchen. Gabi comes home complaining about her day. She wonders why the silence. Rafe demands to know whether she used his gun to shoot EJ oooooooooo. Gabi gets a guilty look on her face ... Tate and Holly are seated across from one another at the pub. He updates her on himself and Sophia agreeing she will give the baby to an adoption agency. Holly agrees tis big news. Tate wonders if they could try again ... Here comes Roman asking Tate to help him hold the dishwasher cos he needs to screw in a bolt. Tate steps away. Seconds later Doug arrives and grins. Holly sweetly smiles back up at he who has been on her mind so much ... Leo elaborates on what he knows so far. Shawn tries to stop him. Jada suggests Leo leave and he warns he is not done ... Gabi gets mad and upset. However, Rafe knows for a fact she left with his service weapon that fateful night and later returned it to the safe. Did she take his gun to the DiMera mansion??? ooooo - Leo returns to Javi with more food to replace the order Gabi stole. Javi admits he is not into this job but they can discuss after they eat. Leo teases dessert will wait until they get home. Javi gets on the desk and teases no waiting necessary ... Back in Rafe's cozy kitchen Gabi confesses she did take Rafe's gun to confront EJ that fateful night. She could hear him with another man and took off. She insists she did not shoot EJ and hopes her brother believes her. He does and she thanks God, then admits she saw Ava by the door but she ran to her car and sped off. Rafe believes they are both in the clear now ... Shawn is sorry if he ever sounded like he doubted Jada. She is a good woman. She calls him a great guy ... Roman greets new hire Doug. Holly is elated to hear he works at the pub now. She happily hugs him and here comes jealous Tate, who takes off. Holly tries to stop him but he is gone. Doug follows her out and she refuses to be down anymore. Things are looking up for Doug who grins at his dream girl.
