She is grateful for her love and support, then something falls from her purse that makes her flashback to shooting TR. Chanel happens by ... At the pub Sarah eventually takes a call from Xander. He has to see her! She tells him to stop calling and hangs up. Post run Eric happens along with unsolicited advice ... Paulina is peeved about her appeal. Justin explains the problem is she already confessed she offed TR ... Eli admits he spoke with Lani. Abe asks what she said. He fibs she was not involved in the shooting ... Lani has much to stress over and snaps at Chanel. Then she apologizes. Chanel sits with her in her pretty summer dress and wonders what is going on. Lani admits t’was hard seeing TR die right before her eyes. She sighs the last thing he ever said to her ... Worried Chanel asks what it was ... Abe agrees to let the cloud of suspicion go and assures Eli he simply wanted to understand what went down. He is appalled TR was in town to make money and caused Paulina even more pain. He deserved what he got! Eli can see how much he cares for Paulina. Abe admits he was at her place to tell her that day. Eli suggests he go do it, just as Julie also suggested. Abe smiles ... Nicole assures Holly that ex hubby Eric will be happy about her news just as she is happy about him loving his work as a priest ... Eric gives Sarah an earful about forgiveness ... Xander informs Chanel that Sarah does not remember forgiving him. How to make her remember that she had? ... At te hospital Lani tells Eli he has officially been released and he updates her on convincing Abe that the shooter really was Paulina ... Meanwhile Paulina is delighted to have a visit from Abe, who announces he really dropped by that day to reveal he was ready to try again after some sage advice from Julie. He declares he loves her. Paulina loves him back but she is facing prison. He notes it would change nothing. He is officially hers ... Lani laments lying to Chanel. Eli argues their kids need their mother and Chanel already had hers until she was grown up ... Chanel tells Xander to hang in there and wishes him luck. She leaves and he sighs in exasperation. Here comes Sarah, who wants a word ... Speaking of words, Nicole comes by the pub to tell Eric she just got engaged to Rafe. He offers his congrats and tells her his own news.
