Back in Salem, Alex downs his drink and blames himself for Maggie being mad at Steph. It was easier being Mr. Shallow but then he met Stephanie. She smiles and he updates her on his sessions with Marlena, how she made him realize he was always having meaningless affairs. All it took was just one look from Steph though he has accepted he blew that too ... Kate wants to go back for her ring from Roman. Chad is against it but she describes the goon and Steve knows who she means and so they double back ... Belle wonders whether she should go to Greece. Chad calls her phone and naughty Alex picks up. Chad wonders why ... Steve joins Roman with his arm in a sling and glam Kate right behind him. Roman gives her a heartfelt embrace and she holds onto him like she never wants to let go again ... Belle calls Shawn, who keeps drinking alone and does not answer. She leaves a message that he is on her mind and she loves him ... Alex explains to Chad that Steph is in the ladies’ room so he picked up as he knew Steph would not want to miss his call. Steph gets on the phone and assures Chad it was a Titan biz meeting. Alex gets going. Steph is happy to hear Kate is back and strong as ever. But she worries when she hears Steve got grazed by a bullet. He insists he is alright. Chad is ready to return home now ... - Steve calls Kayla and makes light of his arm. He gushes Roman and Kate are together as they speak and better than good ... Kate has called Austin to shares the news with the other kids. She snuggles with Roman and assures him she is well. The only thing that worried her was she might not see him again. He vows to keep her in his sights always and gives the woman he loves a tender kiss ...
