Chanel explains she owns the bakery. The stranger states she is looking for work and produces her perfect chocolate chip cookies. Chanel is impressed with the ingredients and ability after she tries one. She suggests the possible right recruit fill out an application form ... Johnny comes clean to EJ at DiMera that Wendy is now in the know about Stefan's suspected drug problem. EJ slyly claims to be concerned about Stefan and suggests they share nothing more with no one. He is counting on his son to keep the secret in the family ... - Li has just caught Stefan and Gabi in a very public kiss at the park. Stefan suggests he was the one kissing Gabi in an unsuccessful attempt to get her back. That means no contract has been broken. Unhappy Gabi pouts and plays along with the plan. Triumphant Li reminds her if she did cheat then the contract would become null and void. Tis in the small print ... Stefan suddenly gets dizzy again and it is real. Li leers if Gabi let Stefan get his hands on her she would tragically lose her shares. He warns to keep up appearances with him as well and ushers the disappointed diva away. Stefan is still a tad unsteady and does not realize he has been drugged by his illustrious brother ... - Sloan suggestively interrupts Eric and Nicole's almost private conversation by grabbing the soap hunk in a passionate smooch. Nicole gets mad and calls her a tramp. Sloan tries to smack her but the tough cookie stops her and issues a not so subtle warning. Sloan calls her old and kisses Eric again before going on her busy way ... Nicole warns Eric that woman he is seeing is nothing but trouble. Frankly Eric does not give a damn ... He is still mourning the loss of mama Marlena and sleeping with Sloan is making him feel better ... Paulina the powerful working woman is pleased and proud to see the Sweet Bits profit margin. If only Chanel's personal life had not gone straight to hell ... Belle bears an unfortunate update. It turns out her retainer check bounced. Paulina gets on the phone with the bank, only to hear her assets were frozen ... Here comes smug stylish Sloan with a court order. Paulina now needs to get court approval before spending a single cent cos Sloan wants to stop her from pretending she cannot pay when she wins her wrongful death lawsuit. Legal eagle Belle promises Paulina she will have it reversed when she files a motion. Sloan taunts she will win it all, including Sweet Bits! - At the park Wendy and Johnny have a casual pizza lunch date together. They wonder about EJ ... Nicole interrupts and senses Johnny spilled the beans to his new girlfriend about Stefan's drug problem. Wendy seems to wonder which DiMera brother is really drugging the other. Nicole insists on EJ's innocence and goes on her way. Johnny starts to sense a scheme - one that really involves both EJ and Nicole setting up Stefan ... - At the DiMera office Stefan updates working EJ on his run in with Gabi and Li. EJ pretends to have forgotten who Li is. He lies he was overwhelmed on another business call and has trouble understanding the numbers. Stefan takes a look. EJ believes he could be dehydrated. Stefan offers to fetch a few bottled waters and spikes one. The phone rings. EJ asks his brother to answer. Stefan does, which gives EJ the opening he needs to switch the bottles. Stefan states the caller hung up, not realizing he was set up. The brothers discuss Gabi's 6 month deal with Li. EJ wants to know more about the plan, like whether Stefan plans to take over as CEO after Gabi gets all of Li's shares. Stefan insists he would never betray his brother. EJ seconds the notion and they continue to lie to one another in this cat and mouse game ... Gabi and Li are home again. She blasts him for his stalking. He confronts her for claiming she was going to Ari's school and admits to tracking her phone. If she would rather be with Stefan, he can remove himself from the love triangle by taking his shares back. Gabi promises to be true to their agreement, remembering Stefan's big plans ... She also suggests they head to the museum together after all ... - Abe comes to see perfumed power Paulina, who is in fine form on the phone. She fires her legal team for not protecting her from Sloan. Now she asks Belle to do whatever she must in order to stop sneaky Sloan. The gloves are off ...
