EJ is relieved to hear there is evidence he did not abduct Samantha. Chad is sorry for what he went through and departs. Belle gets teary and feels terrible but EJ suggests she focus on having something concrete for the board of appeals. She decides she must step aside to let a colleague handle it. He thanks her and they warmly hug ... Chad calls Kate and assures her now EJ will never know he and Lucas set him up ... Clyde fears the worst but Roman hires him since Statesville confirmed he was a capable short order cook. He warns he will be watching him. Clyde thanks him with a hearty handshake.
