It was not his father who kissed Abigail after all ... Susan fusses over innocent Elvis at the slammer with a plan to free him for his lawyer Belle was really the devil ... Belle is upset she was possessed. Shawn believes the devil has been hanging around town waiting for Ciara to have her baby. Belle feels awful ... Jake insists the devil is really Johnny, who stole his woman ... Kate calmly suggests lunch. Gabi declares she is done and kicks her out despite the deal she was working on. Kate warns she can count on no one else at DiMera. She has ruined all her relationships. Gabi brings up Johnny. Kate claims he will turn against her too and sweeps out ... Johnny announces to astounded Chad that Belle was the devil until yesterday and came clean about morphing into EJ to wreak havoc and turn bro against bro. Johnny leaves and Chad digests the dramatic development ... - EJ feels for Belle and hopes she is better. Sue explains John had a successful exorcism and Belle will be alright ... Shawn suddenly remembers the baby sonogram results he was keeping for Ben and Ciara but when he finds it tis open ... Jake suspects Johnny of making mischief and ruining his relationship with Gabi ... EJ has no hope of a retrial. Mama Sue wants his name cleared ... At the DiMera fireplace Chad gasps to Stefano he wrongly sent EJ to jail. He now calls Kate, who has just entered and assumes he heard about Gabi firing her. Not until now. He calls Gabi and Johnny running the company a joke ... Johnnydevil is smug in his room about throwing suspicion from himself to Belle. He remembers opening Ciara's sonogram result and reading the surprise inside ... Shawn believes the devil opened the envelope before being banished. Belle sends him to warn Ciara ... Ciara suspects Johnny took advantage of the timing. Jake vows to find out if he is the devil or not and departs. Shortly afterwards Shawn shows up and warns the couple the devil opened the sonogram result. He leaves the envelope with them and gets back to Belle ... Jake visits Belle and suggests they are on the same side if his suspicions are right ... Plaid Johnnydevil tells Gabi he respects her decision to fire Kate. She could not trust her and wonders if she can even trust HIM ... Kate listens to Chad's news. He feels awful he sent EJ to jail for nothing and must make things right ... EJ believes Susan is wasting her time, Clyde comes in and the intros are made. She whispers Ben Weston's daddy is baaaaaad. Clyde steps away to the phone for a word with his lawyer. Susan whispers Elvis must avoid that awful man. EJ believes he has his back. Sue hisses he is hiding something. EJ remembers his creepy presence at the park and promises mama Sue he will be alright. She grabs him in a bear hug and giggles away. EJ eyes Clyde ... - Chad wants to confess he planted the evidence against EJ and promises not to implicate Lucas. Kate has a better idea ... Jake asks Belle about the day she supposedly met with Maggie. Turns out she was at the slammer with EJ that day. She looks for her phone and finds Maggie's. Jake gasps he got a message about the meeting from Maggie. Belle apologetically assumes she sent it ... Gabi does not trust Johnny and asks what he is really after ... Ciara wonders whether she and Ben should sneak a peek at the sex of their baby ... Gabi believes Johnny might be after her job. He muses he will be busy a while with his movie and tells her he is no backstabbing Jake. He spins his story and states Gabi is the right girl for him ... Jake denies signing anything to steal Gabi’s shares. Belle looks on her laptop and sees she set up such a petition. It must have been the devil's doing. Johnny is grateful he can prove to Gabi he did not betray her and offers to return Maggie's phone. Belle is ever so sorry. He knows she is a good person ... - Clyde deduces EJ's mama does not like him but he has something to smile about cos he could be getting out super soon ... Ben and Ciara kiss and do not look at the baby's sex. Here comes Susan to say goodbye now that there is no devil. Time to return to Roger. They share a goodbye hug and she spies the envelope. She gushes they are gonna have ... but Ben and Ciara bellow and stop her. Susan is hurt. Ciara explains they wanted to be surprised by the boy or girl. Sue swears herself to secrecy and goes. Ciara is relieved they did not find out from Susan. Ben asks his beloved how she really wishes to find out ... Shawn comes home to Belle, who updates him on Jake's enlightening viist ... Johnny talks teamwork and attraction. He suavely sits on the desk, drawling they are both available. Gabi wonders ... Jake finds no Maggie at home and leaves her a note about her found phone. He then makes an important call ... Johnny points out he and Gabi are the same and both know what they want. He wants her and kisses her passionately. She kisses him back as Jake's call goes unnoticed ... Diva Kate slyly suggests she and Chad blame the devil for EJ being wrongly accused ... Clyde boasts he might be getting out today. He has paid his debt to society. EJ has another flashback about being shot at the park and clearly remembers Clyde's close face when he was shot and left for dead. He rages it was YOU.
