Alex complains to unheard Vic on the phone about his input mattering but not to Maggie ... Gwen insists tis alright but Xander enlightens her on his opinion. He cannot get involved with anyone until the divorce is a done deal. Gwen's face falls ... Sarcastic Wendy gets a visit from her old fashioned dad, who is annoyed Li lives here with Gabi. She adds Tripp to the roommate list .. Tripp is surprised Johnny wants to discuss EJ ... EJ wonders wot Johnny and Wendy know. Just their suspicion. Nicole covered and claimed only Stefan's prints were on the vial as per EJ’s investigator. They both fear Johnny finding out the truth would be a disaster ... Johnny would like a copy of EJ's test results. He lies that EJ asked him to get them. Tripp tells him he would need EJ's signature as per hospital protocol ... Papa Wei probes and is pleased to hear his daughter is dating Johnny DiMera aka DiMera heir ... EJ acts indignant Johnny doubts him. He updates Nicole on how Stefan had the nerve to try and drug his wata at the office. Luckily he pulled a switch. Here comes groggy Stefan, who staggers in. Nicole sits him down and gives him a bottle of water. EJ suggests tis the aftereffects of Rolf. He himself has been fatigued of late like he has the flu. Unsuspecting Stefan heads upstairs. EJ is smug. Nicole warns him no one is seeing Stefan this way except them. EJ gets an idea ... - Smug Alex ends his complaint call with Victor. The redhead returns and kicks him out of her chair. She went down to tell the Bella gang about the magazine being cancelled but nobody was there. Alex pretends to respect her. Victor now calls his wife and Alex waits for his good news ... Gwen emotionally tells Xander she looooooves him ... Here comes Leo with his final divorce decree. He had it sped up for the Scot, who does not seem to be happy as he takes a look. He numbly thanks him. Leo suggests they celebrate and states Gwen's case, how much she cares. Gwen sadly suggests he stop but no one stops le Leo ... Maggie ends her call with Vic, who has supported her decision to drop Bella. He also outed Alex to her and she now knows he went behind her back ... Tripp gets back to work but has left his ID badge behind. Johnny takes it ... Wendy is pained as ever with papa Wei, who is all for his daughter being close to the DiMeras. EJ calls to invite important boardman Wei to dinner at DiMera mansion. Tonight. He is on his way. Nicole and EJ cackle in anticipation of the family fireworks ... - Johnny comes back surprised to see Mr. Shin, who is pleased to see him and goes on his way. Johnny shows Wendy the test results of that vial EJ had tested. She gasps it was no street drug, it was a medical drug with unpleasant side effects. Not something Stefan would choose to use if he wanted to get high like EJ said ... Alas EJ seems to have lied to his son again ... EJ and Nicole cannot wait for Wei Shin to witness Stefan's drugged state. Nicole hopes it does not get too tangled ... Maggie lectures Alex for attempting to undermine her to the great Victor. She hisses he would never overrule her and side with him. Alex drawls it was not personal. She snaps she is his boss and the CEO. If he cannot deal with that he can resign ... Leo gives the former lovebirds their space. Gwen apologizes but believes Leo was right about some things. Xander is grateful she tried to help him with Sarah. However he still loves her and maybe always will. That means they are not getting together now. Gwen tries to fight back her tears of torment ... Johnny is appalled. Wendy reminds him they are still not sure what is really happening. He knows Nicole would lie for EJ. Wendy wonders whether EJ plans to drug Stefan tonight so he can make a fool of himself in her father’s presence. Johnny is positive and places a call ... Stefan picks up. Johnny is sorry to say someone might be drugging him ... Downstairs Wei has arrived and EJ and Nicole make nice. EJ claims to be concerned about Stefan, who has not been himself since Dr. Rolf. Shin has actually heard more about EJ's mistakes ... - Xander apologizes. Gwen bitterly believes he used her for help and more. He never would take her home to meet his mother. He sighs the woman is dead to him. Gwen concludes he will never commit but he is NO betta than her! He has Sarah on a pedestal he believes she never will reach. He does not deny it. Gwen is disgusted ... Stefan wants a name. Johnny will just say to watch what he eats and drinks tonight. Meanwhile downstairs at the mansion Stefan deduces his drugger was EJ ... EJ fibs he had the flu and is now fine, unlike brain damaged Stefan. Li realizes he wanted him to see first hand hence the invite. Suited Stefan comes downstairs and graciously offers them all a drink. He turns and drugs one just for EJ ... Alex can deal with Maggie as CEO but feels badly about the Bella employees. Maggie coldly tells him to tell them they are done then and orders him to bring all his accounts. In addition if he goes behind her back again he is FIRED ... Gwen feels like a fool in love again and accuses Xander of leading her on. He apologizes profusely and deduces he should not remain at her dad's paper. Then he bids her goodbye ... Xander now visits Maggie and advises her someone else will do her interview. The redhead wonders what happened. He came clean to Gwen about their no future ... - Downtrodden Gwen wants a bloody refill at the bar. Along comes downtrodden Alex, who decides to join her ... Johnny is utterly rattled by EJ being so underhanded. Enter Tripp, who accuses Johnny of being underhanded ... EJ switches the drinks.
