EJ greets Belle at the mansion with a kiss. She wants to know about Rachel's mother showing up again. He tells her off the record that he and Kristen made a deal. He would use his resources to locate Kristen’s motha for Brady's board vote. Belle suspects there was more to it than that. That is all he will say on the matter. He now complains Xander is demanding the board vote again ... Xander is hurt Sarah implied he would harm his daughter. She snaps she knows he beat Phil senseless. He denies it and accuses her of keeping Philip's lie. Maggie steps up in her blue pantsuit and orders him away from her daughter, Julie right behind her. Sarah gasps he wants full custody. Julie heard he was cleared and assumed they would get back together. Sarah, however, cannot get back to the way they were and walks away ... - EJ wonders why Belle set Xander free. Philip claimed he was not his attacker. She admits she has a plan but will not say more ... Gabi wonders how they can hire a model if they have no money for a fashion shoot. Johnny suggests Gabi be the one to strut her stuff on their limited runway ... Marlena is miffed when Brady sighs Kristen insisted on keeping the secret and is shocked to hear that EJ knows and made a deal with his sister. The agreement was that she would get her mother back and make sure she kept her silence as well as Rachel, who would keep the secret of seeing Johnny with a gun the day EJ was shot. They discuss the drama and Brady shares that EJ thinks Johnny shot him. Marlena explains Johnny just admitted to having the gun but he did not shoot EJ. Then who??? - Maggie is mad at Xander, who claims he was proven innocent and asks the ladies for their vote ... Belle brings up the camera to EJ and lets him know the police will want to search the house for the memory card, which could prove who shot him. EJ claims it is nowhere ... Roman warns Kate that Johnny is facing a tough battle. They realize he cannot use Belle. Kate suggests calling Carrie ... Marlena informs Brady that she and Roman are hoping Johnny will come forward to say what he knows to the police. Then Rachel would be spared from testifying. Brady hopes so. She suggests they tell no one anything just yet. Sarah comes by with the baby and Brady asks to buy her lunch, since she helped Rachel and Sophia. Sarah accepts and asks for a word with Marlena. Brady goes to get them a table. Sarah announces she got back Marlena's bloodwork. Strange music plays ... - Johnny did a deep dive on Gabi and knows she was the face of Countess W. She is still a knockout . They would be saving time and money if she did the shoot. Gabi agrees. Johnny grins ... Roman has left Carrie a message. Kate complains about Phil being too frightened to point the finger at Xander, whom she knows was his real attacker. A mother always knows ... Meanwhile Xander pitches to Julie and Maggie without luck. Julie will only say she will vote what is best for the hospital. Maggie coldly states she is voting her conscience. When Xander walks away Julie wonders what changed Maggie's mind. She has her doubts Phil told them the truth. If only she could say more ... - Sarah informs Marlena her bloodwork was good. She suggests she eat, stay hydrated, and rest. The blonde thanks her and goes on her elegant way ... Sarah joins Brady at a table and they discuss Rachel feeling better thanks to Marlena ... Glam Gabi has many ideas. She and Johnny come up with a country theme that is a winter wonderland. She can be the stylish barkeep. Gabi admits she is impressed by his creativity. He admits being a suit can be fun. She wonders how things are with Xander. They had a thaw but the jury is still out on their future ... Belle really wishes the hidden camera had been found. EJ just wants to kiss his favorite blonde on the couch ... Marlena enters her home alone. The fading flowers are gone. She slowly sits and plays a recording of John's smooth suave voice. I LOVE YOU DOC. She whispers I love you too and cries tears of torment ... - Roman probes. Kate is convinced Philip made a deal with Xander to say nada in return for Xander not revealing his fraud. She is livid and vows to make the Scot pay ... Sarah admits to Brady that Rachel still feels like a daughter to her. Brady lets her know Rachel adores her. Sarah feels blessed now with her own baby. Xander comes in and gets accused of stalking. He begs to see the baby. Brady steps away. Sarah lets Xander greet his dahling daughter, who giggles. She smiles a warm smile. Sarah too ... Belle coos she will be waiting for EJ upstairs. He will follow shortly. He flashes back to Johnny aiming the gun at him and claiming he came to kill him. That is all he sees. For now ... Gabi and Johnny come up with a slogan together that makes her flash back to the night EJ was shot. She heard him from the outside urging his son to put down the gun.
