She complains about Kristen demanding her Basic Black job back so she and Li agreed to make her Chloe and Brady's problem ... Kristen grins about Gabi owing her. Brady refuses to believe she is above him. Kristen smiles she is the new DiMera exec in charge of Basic Black so Brady, Chloe and Nicole now report direct to her ... Sarah fears Gwen might make a play for Xander and regrets postponing their wedding. She laments Lucas seeing her at the mansion the night of the murder running away and seeming to drop something. She worries what if she did it but Maggie brings her back down to earth. The redhead reasons if the cops have not accused her, she should move on and ... finish that wedding. She tells her to go get Xander for the do over. They will be wed in an hour. Grateful Sarah cries tears of joy and gets going ... Gwen brings up the tabloid story that suggested Sarah did it. Xander dramatically denies it so she brings up her admission she kept hallucinating Kristen. Xander scoffs Gwen is to blame for that part. Gwen assures him she would have attempted to save sister Abigail ... - Hunky heroic Eric tends to Nicole’s sore ankle as she thanks him. They hug and he promises to stay with her. Rafe arrives and stares at the sight of his current wife clinging to her ex. He growls to get his dang hands off ... Brady argues Chloe is needed but Kristen claims she is an obstacle. Chloe calls her out on her obsession and warns nothing will break up her and Brady. Then she kisses him to prove her point ... Gabi informs curious Sonny that she and Jake have moved on. Sonny is surprised to hear she is with Li since they are in biz together. He wonders whether it is serious so she admits the only love of her life was STEFAN ... Jake returns to Ava with the ring but she turns it down ... Gwen fake cries and claims it is her fault her niece and nephew lost their mum. Xander hugs her and furious Sarah finds them together. Xander explains she came to say something to both of them. Gwen apologizes for the vial switch and acts like she assumes Sarah offed Abigail. Xander angrily disagrees. Gwen ends her performance by begging for forgiveness. Sarah suddenly imagines her holding a gun and threatening to kill the man she wants no one else to have so Sarah grabs a knife. Xander pulls her back and points out there was no gun. Gwen only has a hanky in her bag ... Ava explains that was the very same engagement ring Xander gave to Gwen. Bad luck. Jake suggests they go select another ring together ... - Nicole praises Eric for saving her from the robber. Rafe calls it in ... Kristen writes Chloe up for inappropriate behavior at the office and attempting to sleep her way up the corporate ladder. She hisses now Brady will have to fire her. Brady talks Chloe out of quitting instead ... Sarah gasps she saw a gun and bolts to the bathroom. Gwen claims she is worried that she might go after Xander, who orders her to leave. She urges him to be careful ... Rafe apologizes for being rude to Eric, who is not bothered, and checks Nicole's ankle she cannot stand on. Eric remains to assist ... Brady refuses to let Chloe leave cos they are building something wonderful with Nicole. She agrees and he goes to appeal to someone ... Ava and Jake come out and she admits she now loves the ring he chose. It was a perfect fit and they got a sweet deal. He slips it on her finger as she says yes to his proposal. They seal the deal with a kiss at the square, only to be interrupted by the creep with the gun who now demands that rock. Jake stands in front of the woman he loves to shield her from harm ... - Eric agrees with Rafe that Nicole needs a hospital but Nicole tells Rafe to find the bad guy before anyone else gets hurt. Eric can take her home ... Jake steps toward the gun toting robber and calmly tells him to drop the weapon cos they just got engaged. BANG!!! ... Brady goes to appeal to Gabi, who refuses to deal with his new boss Kristen ... Kristen returns to Basic Black and warns Chloe that she sent the report to HR and will remove her from Brady's life. Chloe talks back and warns she will not lose this war ... Sarah apologizes to Gwen, who pretends to be sympathetic and slinks out. Xander is sorry he let Gwen in and Sarah cries on his strong shoulder ...
