John and Marlena hear how Sami was not thrilled about Johnny's marriage and EJ was another matter. Johnny believes EJ even abducted Sami. He returned him all his money for the movie. He promises she will be secure at DiMera if she assists him in convincing Shin he was set up by Lucas. Chad insists Kate's job is safe with him. Kate claims she suspects EJ did abduct Sami ... Paulina decides to get EJ on board with the party or else he might lose his son ... Johnny says no way would he make the movie. The possession story is the past, he will make something new ... Xander suggests he speak to the dodgy pilots at the airfield while Abigail speaks with the legit DiMera and Kiriakis crews. Together they will track down Sarah ... Jack praises Jen for being nice to Gwen. Jen notes only Laura and Gwen know what really happened but she will have to trust in Gwen. Tis time to go ... Paulina promises to get EJ excited about her bold reception but Chanel has her doubts. Paulina laughs she already tangled with the devil ... EJ warns Kate he will not forget her betrayal. She hears Steve is already on a case but someone else can help him find Sarah. She bitterly believes he means Abigail ... Abigail calls about the pilots' information and plans to pick it up soon. First she stops off to see Chad on his first day as CEO. She seems surprised when he alludes to Kate being his righthand ... Kate runs into Jack and Jen hugging. When she taunts about her fling with Jack Jen hits back by calling it insignificant. Kate keeps going ... At DiMera mansion. EJ drinks and complains to papa Stefano's portrait there are conspirators but he shall bring them to their knees. Paulina sweeps in with her usual panache and announces they are throwing a wedding reception for Johnny and Chanel. He asks about the venue. Tis the mansion ... Satan taunts Johnny in the mirror and tells him to stop resisting. Chanel enters ... Marlena sighs to John that Johnny did not seem himself ...
