Eric enters and demands an explanation. EJ drawls she is coming home with him ... At the station Belle complains to exasperated Shawn about Trask insisting Paulina spend the night in the slammer. She wonders how Steph will manage to spin the situation... Steph is surprised by Alex and his Chinese food to go. He notes she was not so busy with work as Chad stands by ... Sonny is still trying to help exasperating Leo look at the help wanted ads ... Kristen coos to the Marlena barbie that she impressed Brady as planned. Brady steps forward and gives her a sanctimonious stare. He heard some of her discussion with the doll ... Shawn complains about having to arrest the wrong people. And Jada is off on medical leave from a procedure. Belle worriedly wonders ... Eric accuses Nicole of being drunk enough to go home with EJ given what happened before. She gets sarcastic. EJ talks back. Eric hisses what is the matter with her. Nicole soap stares ... A tummy growls and Sonny learns Leo has not eaten. He heads to the kitchen to ask cook to make something. Unseen unheard Will calls Sonny's phone so Leo answers ... Steph assures Alex this is all about PR and updates him on Paulina's arrest. She and Chad are struggling with their statement so slick Alex offers to help. He reads and muses they have a mess on their hands ... Shawn is shocked when Belle reveals Jada is preggers. She is sure her procesdure was not an abortion ... Nicole has words with Eric. EJ wants to escort the lady away but Eric shouts not to touch her and pushes the DiMera. EJ looks ready to explode ... Kristen makes light of the doll that Rachel gave a name. Brady whips out their daughter's wish list for Xmas and reads her wish that her parents wed ... Leo assures phone Will that Sonny is well and getting them food. Sonny snatches back the phone and suggests they discuss later. Alas he hears Will will not be home for the holidays ... Brady accuses Kristen of duping their daughter. She warns she could make their union a condition of their agreement ... Belle decides to call Eric tomorrow and heads out for a drink with Shawn, since Paulina will be behind bars until morning ... - Back at the club EJ insults Eric, who calls him a dirtbag. EJ tells him he is to blame for losing his baby and Nicole so Eric punches him in the face and he goes down like a well dressed ragdoll. Nicole gasps ... Sonny raises his voice cos Will is putting his job first and cries they can talk later. Leo is sincerely sorry. Sonny too ... Alex is enjoying his stinky tofu as Steph sits at the computer. She agrees to a bite, chomps and decides tis yummy. Chad stares in dismay. Alex suggests they go on the general offense and use the I would do anything to protect my child excuse. Steph is impressed. Chad looks livid ... Shawn enters the club with Belle as EJ accuses Eric of assault. Shawn tries to take Eric outside but he is drunk and belligerent. Shawn is concerned he drove already and tries to usher him out. Raging Eric now makes the mistake of sending the Salem PD son of Bo Brady flying to the floor ... Kristen insists the feelings are still real and gets closer. Brady dares her to prove she really cares and let him have her hidden orchid ... Sonny complains to Leo that Will cannot come home for Christmas cos of PEACOCK, who need him to stay on set. Leo suggests he go be with him. Alas Gabi made big plans with Ari. Leo is sorry he picked up the call. Sonny still seems to blame him on some level. Leo decides to depart. Sonny tells him to stay for dinner since he has no other option. Leo still looks a little hurt ... Chad finds the missing link, which is Paulina's voice. She would call Chanel her little girl. Steph corrects it and Alex calls it perfect. He gazes at his new galpal but Chad is plenty mad ... Brady repeats his request for the orchid and assures suspicious Kristen he and Chloe are done and he would never make her leave their daughter. She gets closer and coos he must be happy on some level ... EJ wants to press charges and tells Nicole she owes Eric nothing. And so she only watches while Shawn cuffs him ... Steph, Alex and Chad drink to their teamwork. Alex has only two fortune cookies. His is a joke and Steph's says she is looking at her dream guy. Alex insists it his him. Chad looks down in dismay ... At DiMera mansion EJ gets another scotch. He asks about Nicole, who feels to blames for the unraveling of Eric. She lets it slip she would have loved to be in Jada's shoes. She is very concerned about Eric, but EJ insists he will get off easy ... Meantime at the station Belle is sorry to tell angry Eric she cannot help as Shawn prepares him for a night in jail ... - Kristen is open to taking it slow and tries to seduce Brady. He stares as she gets closer and does not deny the longing ... Sonny and Leo enjoy sandwiches and chips. Sonny laughs when Leo reads Paulina's ad for his replacement. Leo realizes how irreplaceable he really is and gets an idea ... Chad leaves after Steph thanks Alex for the new slant he gave the press release. She is sorry about the date and agrees on a rain check. Chad comes back having forgotten something, spies the couple kissing and quietly closes the door. For now ... EJ sees Nicole to her room. She spies his photo with Susan on the night table and realizes this was mama Sue's room. He wants her to stay in the nice room and excuses himself. Nicole sits on the bed with a sigh as EJ pauses and holds his lost mother's framed photograph ... Belle argues brother Eric drank, drove, attacked a cop and EJ. Eric leers she slept with EJ so she gets madder. Shawn escorts him to a cell to sober up ... Brady pulls back and demands the orchid from Kristen. Otherwise no love in the afternoon or anytime ...
