She complains tis too many calories but loves it and boasts Li loves her no matter what she might weigh ... Chloe and Stefan snuggle in New York City. They discuss Gabi's wedding day and he sarcastically suggests she and Li deserve one another ... At DiMera mansion Wendy is wearing the scarf Johnny gave her and plans to wear it at the wedding too. She teases he can use it to gag her from spilling secrets ... Brady ends a call at the pub with Rachel, who had a wonderful Christmas with her folks. Eric approaches. He tells him tonight they can kidnap his daughter to distract Kristen. Brady agrees as Kristen will be busy at Gabi's reception. Meantime Kristen comes to see Li to wish him luck. He worries he will need it ... Gabi talks tradition and cannot wait to wed the man she loves. Rafe gives her a look and questions whether the man she loves is really Li ... Chloe is grateful Stefan has been treating her like royalty. She cannot wait until Miami and they kiss in bliss. Stefan gets going to pick up bagels after assuring his beloved he will be back soon. Fancy Nancy enters and admits she and Mike are very happy. Chloe adds she and Stefan are happy but Nancy senses she is not really over Brady as she says. The redhead uses the r word. Rebound. She also reminds her how terribly Stefan treated her in the past. Chloe moans about Brady moving Kristen in and sadly states she no longer believes they were the real deal ... - Back at the pub Eric wants to make sure Kristen stays at the wedding and has an idea. Brady is shocked he wants him to accompany her as her date. Eric grins then he will be able to kidnap her daughter. They look up and see Jada ... Kristen gets Li to admit he had a bad dream about Stefan discovering what he did. She assures him her lips are sealed ... Wendy admits it will be hard to hear Li marry unsuspecting Gabi. She would rather make up an illness and not attend ... Gabi calls Rafe a buzz kill. He reminds her she was deeply in love with Stefan before his death. She reminds him Stefan rejected her and now believes his love for her was a lie all along. As they breakfast Gabi suggests Rafe start dating so she can give him a hard time and teases him about Jada. He notes she is no more than a co-worker and there are rules for the commiss. Gabi insists he invite her to the wedding and decides to do so herself. Rafe protests ... Eric is surprised to see Jada, who deduces she is the last person on earth he wants to see these days ... Chloe believes tis her and Stefan's time and says so to Nancy ... Kristen thanks Li for brainwashing Stefan, cos Chloe is busy with him instead of Brady. She breathes a sigh of relief Johnny and Wendy's fishing expedition came up empty. Li admits they actually know everything ... Rafe grabs his phone back from Gabi and excuses himself to the station ... Furious Kristen finds out Wendy is loyal to Li and Johnny does not wish to cause drama for grieving EJ. Kristen has her doubts about Li surviving any reveal and goes on her way, cooing she will see him at the wedding. Drums of doom play ... Jada sits at her own table. Brady sighs t'was a close call and agrees to do as suggested by brother Eric. Eric wants to relieve babysitters John and Marlena so they do not suspect anything. They wish one another luck and Brady leaves. Eric approaches Jada and asks for a word. He is surprised she knows he was in jail and knows he has been getting ... close to notorious Sloan. She suggests they live their own lives and alludes to him losing it these days. Eric is in denial and wants to be friends. He apologizes for not admitting he was not over Nicole. Jada thanks him but would need time to be friends again. She excuses herself to the station and suggests he stay out of the slammer ... - Nancy brings up When Harry Met Sally. Chloe quips her life is no romcom but Nancy wishes she would fly back to Salem and meet Brady just before midnight. Enter Stefan ... Gabi is chilling the champaign in Rafe's kitchen when Li texts her a picture. She suddenly sees and old pic of herself with Stefan and freezes. Knock knock! Tis maid of honor Wendy. Gabi pops open the bubbly ... At the station Jada informs boss Rafe there is nothing new on the kidnapping case. She enjoyed meeting Gabi Christmas morning. He smiles Gabi likes her and she smiles she is smart and funny like him. Rafe invites her to attend Gabi's wedding with him ... Stefan tells Chloe they are running late for their Miami flight. They leave the room to start packing as Nancy sighs ... Li shows up at DiMera mansion to talk to Johnny alone, just to make sure he has not changed his mind ... Brady intentionally bumps into Kristen outside the Salem Inn and she spills her coffee a bit. He suggests they attend the wedding together and claims he assumed she would blackmail him into it with the orchid anyway. She gushes they should bring Rachel and starts to call her ... Rafe convinces Jada to come to the wedding with him ... Li wants Johnny to promise to keep his secret like Wendy did. Johnny blasts him for making Wendy a nervous wreck and tells him he would be better off telling the truth to Gabi. Li refuses. Johnny sarcastically states he will see him tonight. Li takes his leave ... After they toast, Gabi tells Wendy how happy she is and the girl seems more relaxed ... Stefan and Chloe are ready to leave Fancy Nancy's place. Stefan goes ahead with the bags and Chloe swears to the redhead she is over Brady. Then she steps out ... Brady stops clueless Kristen claiming the wedding will go too late for their daughter. She agrees and hangs onto his arm as they head off ... Meanwhile Eric calls Marlena and offers he babysit Rachel while she and John ring in the new Year.
