Mardevil hisses sinners will not win. Eric gets an idea ... Belle updates Lucas and Sami on Jan's latest sins. The gals start to argue about blame. John thunders to stop. They must be a united front. Eric agrees and emerges with Brady. They must join forces for the power of all together will save Marlena's soul ... Allie convinces Tripp and kisses him. She now gets summoned by John. Meanwhile Mardevil steadies herself for the fight she vows will give her Marlena's soul forever ... Patchy Claus gets stylish Kayla on his lap and surprises her with a bracelet to wear with the necklace he gave her on their honeymoon. They romantically remember the little anchor. She gushes she loves him and gives him more kisses ... Chanel is at the square when she sees Tripp taking Henry for a walk. They agree to be neutral like the Swiss about the situation and now discuss doc's drama. Tripp invites her to the hospital kids Christmas celebration and she accepts ... Outside Marlena and John's door Allie and Johnny agree to focus of Marlena. Sami throws open the door and sends Johnny ahead. She wants to ask Allie about something Paulina said. Allie says not now and they enter together. Allie is elated to see Uncle Eric. Lucas discretely departs. Eric announces the exorcism will be intense and dangerous. They are all in for Marlena. Eric believes the fact that it is Christmas Day will be a deal breaker. He leads the group into nervous Mardevil’s bedroom. She cracks jokes. Eric blesses each and every one of them as they say nothing to the devil. Sami stands aside and prays aloud. Then they hold hands and Eric leads them in the Lord's prayer. A wicked wind blows and the devil vows to win. Eric blesses the bed and the devil howls. The bed stops shaking. But then the devil sits up and hurls insults. Eric tells them to speak to Marlena and pray she will hear ... - Chanel and Tripp arrive for the end of Kayla's sweet Christmas story ... Lucas places presents under the tree at Horton house and begs God to forgive him and help Sami and her family ... John implores Marlena to remember their love. Eric shouts and recites the bible. Marlena does indeed remember their love with flashback accuracy. And so it comes to pass that the power of seven makes hell lose to heaven ...
