Abe gets an unexpected call from Belle, who asks to speak with Paulina, who exclaims WHAT! - Marlena fears Brady's feelings for Kristen could win. She also suspects Kristen is onto John. John states she is isolated enough to trust the first friend that shows up, meaning the silver fox ... Kristen offers to take Rachel to town to see the decorations. She wants daddy to come too. Brady will be there later not now. After their child steps away Kristen suggests he does not love their daughter enough ... EJ wonders whether Ava faked her break from reality. He regrets his involvement with her, how it cost him Susan and almost cost him Nicole too. Nicole assures him only Ava is to blame and strokes his face ... EJ soap stares ... Chanel is now down about Paulina's planned resignation. Dapper Abe drops by with a grin and produces Paulina. A happy holiday reunion with hugs follows ... Sloan is smug she ruined Paulina and her daughter's holiday since so many of hers were ruined. She now gets a call and Eric sees her face fall. She gasps she has got to go handle something ... As the gals set the table, Paulina praises phone mama for all her prayers. After the call they celebrate her freedom that was the result of legal eagle Belle challenging their extradition in London and winning. Charges have been dismissed. Abe announces the nightmare is now over ... Marlena tells John to make up another terrible fight. He sighs it would be hard a second time and wants to celebrate the holidays with the woman he loves. She swoons and they share another classic kiss ... Brady blasts Kristen for playing with the health of Rachel's beloved grandmother. The little girl comes back hoping the orchid talk is over ... Brady soon gets a visit from Eric, who insists they stop Kristen's Blackmail together with their own counterplan ... Kristen admires the town square tree with Rachel, who wishes daddy were here ... Nicole has a hard time eating with her left hand so EJ insists on assisting. She touches his hand and their eyes lock ... Abe and the gals have champagne. Paulina smiles she loves Salem. Tis where they belong. They toast to a very Merry Christmas, grateful for the blessings ... Nicole blushes and states she should shower so she can start her day with Holly. EJ flirts he could help and she teases he already helped enough. He stands and is grateful she and Holly are here. The house needs her now. He leaves and she gets to thinking ... Sloan crashes the Carver family festivities and threatens to make Paulina pay somehow ... John has just given Marlena a long kiss and puts the tray away. Time for some holiday delight ... Kristen tells her little girl they might both get their wish and hugs her ... Brady listens to brother Eric's great idea.
