Trask stomps into the station and orders Brady's arrest ... At Basic Black phone Chloe laments how it looks for Brady to mama Nancy. Beleaguered Brady arrives ... At the square Rex and Roman really wish Kate would eat. She is grateful to have Rex home ... Gwen complains to herself about Rex being too close for comfort and hopes Xander did not drop by the pub. She glances out the window, only to notice Rex bloody downstairs. Xander is back and smiles who did she say was downstairs ... Victor is holding a framed photo of Phil. He needs the chance to apologize for being so hard on him. Maggie tries to make him feel better ... Roman is shocked when Kate admits she threatened Brady. Rex makes her mad by trying to keep things calm. Kate wishes she had not allowed Victor to be so hard on Phil and admits she too played a part. She just wants to see his beautiful smile again ... Gwen tells a tale about the guy at the coffee cart whistling. She stops Xander from going to confront him. He senses her upset. She is superstitious about something coming between them. Trask claims to have concerns about Brady bolting and angrily orders Eli to call the divers again. As always she wants the case closed fast. She summons Kate to drop by to discuss the case. - Vic is about to call Rafe when he gets a call from Trask, who suggests he help by coming to the station though there is nothing new. Maggie wants to come with but he informs the redhead he would rather she pray at St. Luke's ... Gwen stammers about room service but her big guy has cabin fever. He suggests they go for a stroll and get a bite at the pub. She gets undressed and distracts him. After the lovin he hops out of bed to shower. Once she hears the water running she returns to the window and wishes Rex would finish his coffee and get lost! She cannot risk Xander hearing Sarah is on a deserted island alone cos he would want to be her hero! It can never happen ... Rex sadly deduces it does look well for Philip but Roman reasons he might have vanished on purpose to avoid angry Victor. He refuses to believe he was lost in the river ... Brady clarifies to Chloe he does not recall drinking the mysterious six shots. He also wants to say ... Kate joins Victor in a room at the station. Here comes woman in red Trask. Alas there is no new evidence but she could make an arrest quicker with proof of death. She strongly suggests Kate and Victor sign ... Towel clad Xander is surprised when Gwen suggests they have a holiday in London and stay at her friend's lavish flat as guests. Her air miles could cover the cost of their flight. He reminds her of the wet and cold weather this time of year. She insists they would enjoy the magical city with its markets and shops. They could view Christmas Carrol at the old Vic. She convinces him with kisses ... - Victor and Kate were not expecting Trask to want them to declare Philip legally dead. Trask needs the power to prosecute guilty Brady. Tis the only way ... Brady comes clean to Chloe about the other day when he almost drank at a bar but summoned Maggie instead. He admits he was stressed since Chloe was with Philip and even admitted he wanted him out of the way.He could not have killed him but questions what he did do. Chloe suggests he stop. Brady wants to remember and believes being back at the river might jog his memory. Chloe reluctantly agrees to accompany him ... Trask gives Vic and Kate some space. Stylish Kate wants to sign but Victor is not ready. She weeps the reality is Brady must have murdered Phil and wants him arrested. Victor goes silent about his grandson. Kate suggests he not forget how many times Brady has turned his back. Philip was the loyal one ... Trask comes back to Eli and Lani and alludes to a new development soon. Eli and Lani get a bad feeling. They are no strangers to Trask’s tricks ... Back at the Christmassy square Rex is relieved Kate has Roman, who assures him they are happy to have him home. Roman suggests they await Kate at the pub ... Xander and Gwen are booked for Britain! She looks out the window and grins her coffee guy annoyance is gone. They have a flight to catch ... Tis cold down by the river as Chloe shows Brady the spot where he fell and she found him. He flashes back to gasping at Philip to get away ... Rex returns to retrieve his fallen wallet at the square, only to run into Gwen and Xander. Xander is stunned to see him ... Back at the Kiriakis mansion Maggie tells Victor she said two rosaries for Phil. He grumbles he could use one too ... Kate approaches Roman at the pub. He is shocked to hear Phil has been declared legally dead by both parents ... Before Brady can say anything Trask arrives with apologetic Eli and orders his arrest ...
