Leo heads to Horton house, where Gwen gives him the whole story. She needs Leo to play the role of the clown and holds up the mask he must wear ... Sloan calls Nicole fickle. Rafe comes to the Kiriakis mansion and agrees to put out an alert . He steps out to do so. Alex approaches and updates worried Justin on Maggie and Sonny checking the shed and now going to check Bonnie's usual haunts. Justin refuses to give up ... Bonnie slowly starts to believe Xander’s story ... Leo is horrified. Gwen appeals to his inner clown. He agrees to do it for three hundred but warns he is a different body type and height than the original clown. Gwen knows just what to do ... - Justin visits Sarah, who is surprised Bonnie is awol still. Hubby came across her red scarf at the park without her. Sarah mentions Xander's midnight run and blurts out she once believed he could have been Bonnie's clown ... Xander continues trying to convince Bonnie they are in the same boat. Enter Leo in the clown mask ... Before Rafe leaves the Kiriakis mansion Alex admits he was the one who insisted Eric and Nicole pose for the cover of Belle and apologizes. Rafe seems to blame Nicole only ... EJ insists he himself is no saint. Nicole taunts the nun she is the sinner who lusted for another man and convinced holy Eric's girlfriend to get an abortion. Mary is horrified ... Eric teases Sloan she is taking a chance letting him to stay but she feels he is a safe bet. She takes off her high heels and whispers they would need to share a bed. Then he struggles away with the clown as Bonnie watches and whimpers ... Gwen flashes back to giving Leo a muscleman suit to wear so he would resemble Xander ... Xander shoves Leo outside and tells him tis time for the big finish. He hauls him back and Leo punches him, then races off into the night. The perfect plan. For now ... - Sarah has told suspicious legal eagle Justin Xander's story about his new job being true. He wants her to tell Rafe and reasons it could save Bonnie. Sarah reluctantly agrees if only to prove he is innocent given both Bonnie and he are oddly missing at the same time ... Xander comes back to untie grateful Bonnie ... Sarah and Justin join Rafe and Alex at the house. Justin asks Sarah to spill what she suspected ... Shirtless Eric is now in bed with Sloan and turns the talk to her drama. She suggests they have similar problems cos they keep getting wronged ... EJ chuckles about rattled Mary, who has gone to bed. Nicole now feels bad as she just lost sister Sue. EJ enjoyed seeing Nicole's wicked side again, how she fiercely fought back. That was the Nicole who stole his heart. He welcomes her back with a toast. Nicole looks a little uneasy ... Before Sarah can begin, Bonnie and Xander race in. Bonnie hugs Justin and announces how Xander heroically saved her ... Clown Leo comes back to Gwen. Mission accomplished ... Sarah is impressed with her man, whom Bonnie now calls an amazing stud. Rafe wants something on the clown but Xander concludes he was a low level henchman. Bonnie hugs her hero. Sarah's eyes flicker ... Nicole complains to EJ she had a crummy day cos she and Eric clashed. They are done for good. He teases she has said that before but she says this time tis for real ... Sloan praises Eric for his ... goodness. She giggles when she hears he used to be a priest and suggests being less perfect. Their eyes lock and she tell him to do as he wants so he passionately kisses her and she kisses him back ... At DiMera mansion Nicole decides to call it a night. EJ announces Eric was wrong not to appreciate her strong spirit and urges her to stay true to her fiery self ... Eric and Sloan get hot and heavy ... Rafe heads to the warehouse to search for clues. Bonnie tells Justin she will not leave the house until the creepy clown has been caught ... Leo gets his payoff from Gwen and wants to keep the muscle suit. He teases his pal to collect from Xander ... Sarah is getting frisky with her hero and stops to apologize for ever suspecting him.
