Paulina is anxiously eating at the bistro with elegant Abe. She is anxious about giving testimony about Johnny ... Leo complains about the poor coverage of the scandalous trial. Rafe argues he is more important as a juror. The Gabi has risen. She is miffed about having to testify ... Tate runs into Belle, who is carrying a bag and plans to check into the Salem Inn cos Sami is at the house ... EJ helps Johnny with his jacket and coaches him for court. Father tells son he will do wotever necessary to prove he is innocent ... - Gabi cannot believe Leo is a juror. She would hate to have her fate in his hands. He reminds her he helped her when her daughter was missing. Gabi is sorry. She is wreck about her day in court ... Paulina is concerned Johnny could get wrongly convicted. The Attorney Genera'’s office suddenly calls ... Johnny wishes EJ would not be tough on Chanel but EJ is laser focused for a win ... Belle is sorry that Tate did not get to meet his daughter ... Trask comes back to her office. Sophia complains about Sarah knowing she was having a boy. She had to come clean. The good doctor knows she lied to Tate. It will be too tangled to keep the story going ... Trask warns her she will have to raise the baby if she does not keep the story going. Sophia panics about Tate wanting an address. Trask promises to take care of it ... Belle suggests Tate consider the greater good. Tate decides to go easy on Sophia ... The AG is sending someone to watch the trial and if Belle does not get a win she stands to be disbarred ... Rafe says no more trial talk. Leo leaves. Rafe offers to come with Gabi and urges her not to be afraid of EJ. But she is ... Johnny grins about EJ telling him to keep his eye on the ball. Tis typical John Black talk. EJ knows he misses his grandfather. Johnny enjoyed remembering him with Sami. She also said she was happy he and EJ were in a good place. EJ feels the same way and now tis off to court they must go ... - Paulina is waiting and exchanges well wishes with Johnny. She warns him not to play dirty with Belle but before she can continue he heads to the courtroom. Belle arrives and she warns her about the call she got. She will be scrutinized ... Outside the pub Tate meets Sophia and is sorry he was insensitive. She assures him she is alright. He offers to make it up by treating her at the pub. She accepts ... Court is now in session. Belle probes Paulina about the night EJ was shot. She wonders whether Chanel feared Johnny would get violent with EJ, who emphatically objects to Belle leading the witness. Belle rephrases. She asks whether Johnny visited EJ in hospital. Paulina admits he did not on that day. He also stated his dad got what he deserved! Belle wonders where he went all alone. He said he was walking at the park but later admitted he had gone to the DiMera mansion to confront his dad. Belle is done. EJ clears his throat and gets started ... He politely asks Paulina if she believed Johnny's claim of innocence. She does and she did with her whole heart! - Once they are seated inside the pub Tate probes Sophia about the parents. He is sorry but wanted to imagine them. She is sorry things happened so fast but they must live with giving up the baby. He insists he wants to meet the parents and more importantly their baby girl ... On the stand Gabi admits to Belle she stormed over to the mansion that fateful night to confront EJ for abducting Rafe. Belle wonders what she saw. She heard EJ and Johnny argue and Johnny yelled he deserved it. Then EJ told him to put down his gun. Gabi admits she then left and happened to spy Ava Vitali departing the DiMera estate. Murmurs. Madam Judge demands order in her court. Belle decides she is done... - Back at the pub Sophia reminds Tate they gave away their parental rights when they signed. The baby is no longer theirs. Tate senses she is hiding something from him, hence the fact that she wants him not to meet their daughter ... EJ gets Gabi to admit she had Rafe's gun that fateful night and overheard what she thought was Johnny's voice. EJ suggests Ava could have doubled back, done the deed and framed his son. Madam Judge calls a recess. EJ informs his son they are winning ... Sophia is not making sense. Tate begs her to give him the parents' address so he can write them a letter, asking to meet his child. Sophia sighs. He is asking for an impossible promise ... Outside the pub alone again, she calls Trask and tells her Tate now wants to write the parents a letter followed by a visit. Trask tells her then she will write back as said parents and refuse ... Tate catches up with Leo and gives him the baby's toy he left behind. Leo is grateful and boasts he looks like baby. He now asks Tate about his baby. Tate sadly states she was adopted. Leo is sympathetic. Baby fusses so Leo picks him up and lets Tate hold him. Baby coos, Tate is mesmerized and the bonding begins!! - Gabi storms home and rages about EJ trying to accuse her. The talk turns to Johnny and she wonders what if Johnny really did shoot EJ ... Johnny thanks Paulina for believing in him. She and Abe Hope the jury will feel the same way ...Back in the courtroom EJ apologizes to Belle and assures her he looooves her. She rolls her eyes. If only they could be with one another. She slyly suggests he come see her at the Salem inn and slides him her key. EJ grins. Everything seems to be going his way. For now! STAY BLOODY TUNED!
