Meanwhile Nicole heads home to EJ, who is sorry she could not see Abe this time and wonders where she was. She updates him on her cravings leading her to the square, where Melinda knocked over her snack but replaced it. EJ is immediately suspicious. Melinda always has ulterior motives ... - Roman stands up and drawls he takes and loves Kate the way she is. Megan was indeed a threat. However, next time no hits until she checks with him first. They kiss and Marlena returns from Bayview. She cannot divulge details to curious Kate but can confirm Harris is where he now needs to be ... Harris is sincerely sorry for Eve's loss of daughter Paige. She is still haunted but is learning to deal with her grief in better ways. Harris reveals he and Hope had a relationship recently. He knew Ciara as well as Ben. Eve refuses to ever forgive Ben but sympathizes with Ciara for loving him ... Alex agrees to avoid Chad and Stephanie. The guys shake on it. Steph emerges and smiles the kids are asleep. She will warm up dinner. Alex hastily excuses himself. Chad pretends to want him to stay. Alex bids them both a good evening. Steph wonders why the about face. Chad pretends to be perplexed and calls Alex lonely. Steph calls Chad sweet for suggesting he stay. Chad emotionally calls her the sweet one. She means so much to him and he will not let anything come between them. She feels lucky and suggests they have dessert before dinner. They head to the bedroom ... Kate wishes Harris well. Marlena now mentions Eric and Sloan and admits she had concerns about that woman. So does Roman. Kate believes they should give her the benefit of their doubt. Marlena agrees for the sake of her son's happiness ... Sloan is enraged at Eric's lackluster proposal. She needs LOVE ... Melinda leaves Sloan a message about having lunch to continue that convo ... Nicole admits to EJ that the D.A. asked a lot of questions about the babies. EJ laughs she has no life and gushes about their own baby ... Eve tells Harris how much Bayview has helped her. She gets out in a few weeks and wants to visit family in California. Maybe she will try music again. He calls her talented and says tis not too late for her.
