Downstairs Leo wants out but Sloan needs his story ... Gabi catches Li and Rolf in his room and calls Rolf a creep before demanding he explain his presence. She is mad Li allowed him in. Li explains he had a proposition about work, Gabi quips over her dead body. Rolfski coos it could work ... Kristen leaves a livid message demanding an update from Rolf. Here comes curious Chad. He wonders about her being in Marlena’s office so she unhappily updates him on the visit with Rachel arranged by Brady. She is sorry Chad’s children are not doing so well. He wonders what she was saying about Chloe ... Gabi blasts Rolf for not saving her Stefan ... Jen looks out the Horton window as Jack sadly recalls what Xander revealed about Gwen having Sarah's mask. He tells teary Jen he is sorry ... Gwen warns Leo cannot be trusted with his words. Rafe reminds her the mask is evidence. She claims she was in the slammer so he reasons she was missing at bed check. She insists on her innocence. Rafe warns the jury will not be on her side and suggests she start talking. Gwen gets it and agrees ... Rafe records. Gwen waves her right to an attorney in the room. Rafe asks her whereabouts June 10 at night. She admits she temporarily escaped but only because she wanted to give Jack her handmade birthday mug that Abigail had dropped on purpose. Rafe concludes she had an agenda after that ... Sloan does not want Leo to miss any steps of his story with her so he admits Gwen gave him info that gave him access to the dark DiMera tunnels. He did see Thomas and had some bubbly but felt they owed him so he sneaked up to Abigail's bedroom ... Kristen complains to Chad that Chloe is a bad employee. Chad suggests she is jealous so she wonders why he came to Marlena's office. He hisses to go to hell. She heard he moved out of the mansion and is sorry about Abigail. He accuses her of being selfish. She emotionally claims she cares ... Gabi gets upset about Rolf leading her to believe Jake was Stefan and giving her the drug he lied would help him. Rolf rages if only she knew she would kneel with respect and thank him. She angrily wonders what he means. Li pretends to side with her and escorts him out into the hall. Then he orders him back to the lab to get the job done ... - Kristen calls Chad the best of the DiMeras and praises him for seeking help from mind healer Marlena. She wishes she had sought help since now she can hardly see her dear daughter. She tells him how sorry she is for harming him and Abigail. Chad solemnly states they will never recover the time she lost on that island and still seems to blame her ... Back at Horton house Jack regrets the chances he gave Gwen and breaks down. Jen does not blame him but they must move forward ... Rafe wants a return to that fateful night. Gwen got into the quiet DiMera mansion with her Sarah mask. Rafe suggests she set up Sarah but she says she saw Abigail working and recounts how she tried to jab her with a syringe. Alas Abigail fought fiercely and grabbed her mask off. Abigail wanted to call the cops so she explained she was convinced Sarah was crazy. Besides the jab was simply saline. She insists she did not off Abigail and adds the real killer is behind bars ... Leo updates Sloan on Gwen wanting him to off Abigail, how he got a big knife in the DiMera cellar and headed upstairs to steal something for his troubles. But the bedroom got busy. He hid as Chad and Abigail came in and kissed, elated she was with child. They made love and then Chad left to take the kids to the movies as Abigail started to write on her computer until she left the room. He could not resist stealing some items from her jewelry box and pried them out with the knife from breakfast. Sloan wants to know where the knife is now. He put it down. Gwen must have shown up with her Sarah mask and used said knife to off Abigail. Sloan suggests tis not a story she can tell the commiss ... Meanwhile Gwen continues with how she begged Abigail not to report her. She sighed and gave her a one hour start to get back to Statesville. Then she left. The end ... - Li acts like he liked getting rid of Rolf but Gabi is an emotional wreck with her memories of losing Stefan. They start to kiss ... Rolf is with sleeping Stefan. Kristen demands to know if he can remove Gabi from Stefan's feelings. He cannot wait ... Kristen adds he must also make certain Stefan cares only for Chloe. Rolf will amplify the brainwaves but must be careful not to kill him. He needs to be alone to concentrate. Kristen goes after reminding him she needs results. The mad scientist hisses at sleeping Stefan to cooperate ... Rafe is sorry to say Gwen is not in the clear cos of the holes he sees in her story. She states she was not herself but never would have offed her sister. She admits she did drop a syringe on the way out but swears Abigail was alive as she left that house. The question is can Leo swear the same thing ... Sloan believes Leo’s story but warns he was alone in the room with the murder weapon so tell no one at least not until Gwen has gone down ... Chad sadly states it was Gwen to concerned Jack and Jen but refuses to elaborate. Instead he heads to the kitchen to numbly make dinner for his children ... Slinky Sloan orders Rafe to set her client free since he now has the real killer. He warns her Trask still has her client on other charges - to which murder could still be added - and tells her he is keeping both suspects ... Gwen is escorted past Leo and the verbal fur flies ... After the lovin Gabi wonders what Rolf meant about her needing to kneel in thanks ... Meanwhile Rolf proceeds to program Stefan, whose eyes fly open.
