Meanwhile Marlena hypnotizes Sarah about the day Abigail lost her life ... Kristen greets Rolf at his lab and wonders how Jake will feel when he wakes up ... Ava opens her door to banging Jake ... Xander wants to track Sarah but sees Gwen at his door when he throws it open. She suggests he is scared Sarah is about to be charged ... Marlena checks Sarah's recent memory, which seems intact. She remembers going to see Gwen in the slammer. Marlena wonders what happened. She confronted her for wearing a mask of her when she broke up with Xander, hiding her whereabouts and then giving her the drug, claiming Kristen was to blame for her injection ... Dream Jake assures Ava he is alive but then she wakes up all alone ... Rolf pulls back the curtain and Kristen watches sleeping brother Jake, smiling about what is in store. Rolf is pleased she approved and jabs his syringe with his latest potion ... Gabi storms over to see fellow fashionista Ava about securing her claim on the estate. Meanwhile Tony and EJ discuss EJ's obsession with getting his hands on Jake's shares. Tony is no cutthroat but EJ claims Shin and Gabi could oust them if they merged power ... Gwen lies to doubtful Xander she feels awful about Sarah and suggests an alibi. Xander is annoyed everyone seems to believe Lucas' story and still distrusts Gwen immensely ... - Sarah admits that Gwen's lack of remorse got her even angrier. Marlena tells her to continue. She returned to Xander's empty room while he was in New York for an interview. She downed a sleeping pill with water before going to bed and slept until she woke up from a nightmare. Then she decided to go to Abigail. She donned her dark raincoat. Marlena mutters Lucas said he saw a raincoat, then asks Sarah to continue. Someone came to her door - someone she was not expecting to see ... Ava asks Gabi if she really loved Jake why does she not act like she cares! She also wonders why Gabi is so confident so she whips out a fake marriage license ... Tony wonders how to neutralize Ava. EJ accuses Gabi of being an ambulance chaser who approached Ava aka the almost next of kin. Tony indignantly reminds him that is really Vivienne and insists they go see her ... Alas Rolf sees no spark of life and sighs Jake might have been unalive too long for it to take ... Sarah finally remembers that Rex was at her door. Marlena wonders why he came. He heard about what happened and called captor Kristen crazy. Sarah heard about her mask and he sighed she dumped him fast. He sadly stated he never stopped loving her and wanting to believe ... Sarah let him know she and Xander were reunited and in love. Rex accepted that and realized she was headed somewhere. She almost fell. The good doctor caught her and insisted the woozy girl stay in bed a while ... - Meanwhile Xander turns down Gwen's attempt at comforting him. She suggests Sarah go to Bayview. Xander gets mad when she boasts about her pardon and hears she was sprung by Kristen ... Kristen begs Rolf to revive brother Jake and refuses to leave his lab ... Gabi suggests Ava sign the marriage license to prevent EJ from sponging off Jake's stock. Ava is still suspicious ... EJ disagrees with any deal with Ava. Tony wonders who just texted him and EJ boasts about good news ... Marlena the mind guru wakes up Sarah, who remembers Rex's visit, how he made her stay in bed because she was woozy. She wonders whether she just imagined him so Marlena calls him to check ... Dr. Rolf alludes to an untested super strong serum and Kristen urges him to just do it. Here comes the super injection ... - Ava plays devil's advocate. Gabi will get to keep her DiMera shares no matter what but she has no family wealth to fall back on sooooo she demands an exec job with DiMera including a six figure salary plus board seat. The former mob princess is no fool and refuses to back down ... Marlena gets Rex on speakerphone for Sarah. He confirms on June 10 he went to see her at the Salem Inn. He wanted to say he loved her still but she was not interested. She was woozy so he helped her to bed and left her asleep. He did not depart until after 10pm. Sarah is eternally grateful. Marlena smiles about her unexpected alibi ... Ava is a tough negotiator who knows she holds the cards. Gabi agrees to ask Shin and the board and shoves her the paper to sign. Ava politely does just that. Before she goes, Gabi wonders whether she loved Jake. She did and sadly states he was the one she was searching for. Gabi feels for her and admits she was only with Jake for he reminded her of Stefan, the one true love of her life ... - The Salem patient has not responded with any brain activity. Kristen is sad she did not get her brother back. Rolf gets an idea and decides she will get her wish after all ... Sarah hugs waiting Xander with her wonderful news of Rex's alibi that proves she did not off Abigail. They hug in happiness and kiss. Then the big guy concludes Lucas lied ... Gwen unzips her small suitcase and takes out her secret Sarah mask ... Ava opens her door to EJ, who suggests she drop the scheme cos she never wed Jake as per city hall. Ava suggests he double check cos she is sure the record is there. He scoffs he can call and check now ... Rolf pulls back curtain number two, to show Kristen the late Jake's sleeping brother STEFAN.
