Shin tells Rolf over the phone that he does not want Stefan returning to the land of the living. He ends the call when fashionista Gabi comes in. She asks if that was his mother. He lies t'was biz. Speaking of DiMera business ... like the job she promised Ava ... Ava gushes Johnny should join them so EJ agrees. He informs EJ that he and aunty Ava have already seen muuuuuuch of one another at the mansion ... Maggie is surprised Alex has a date with two women. He sighs they are only interested in each other ... Chanel argues they are going out with Alex Kiriakis and tries to convince Allie to put on something more sexay. Allie wonders whether she is into him ... Maggie suggests Alex wear the polka dot shirt ... Chanel teases she wants Allie to wear something nice for her and make this their date night after Alex. Allie agrees and will see her there after she puts on another outfit ... Dapper Tony and apprehensive Anna visit Kristen. Anna lists her bad deeds that affected her so Kristen stops her and wonders why she really came ... EJ pours the wine and senses more to the story. Ava makes light and Johnny recounts coming across her nekid at the mansion. EJ apologizes. Ava quips she saw Johnny nekid right back ... - Gabi reminds Shin that she must give Ava a job as promised. He points out she would have more to lose if she outed her. She warns she could team up with EJ. Shin praises her cunning and they kiss ... After the lovin Li asks Gabi to stop wearing the late Stefan's ring around her neck ... Tony and Anna are clearly not comfortable at Kristen's place above the garage. Tony invites her back to the mansion. She cannot cos EJ is demanding her DiMera shares aka her control ... EJ assures Johnny he believes he will be Chanel's choice. Ava stops him since she chose Allie. Johnny seems relieved she spoke out ... Alex admires Chanel in her stunning dress when they meet at the restaurant. He assumes Allie is not coming but here she comes in a tight dress, stating Chanel is already spoken for. He asks about their history and wants to see them kiss as he slurps his drink ... EJ had no idea. Johnny states how Ava stepped up to defend him against angry Allie. EJ suggests they raise their glasses to the late Jake and calls him the man Ava fell in love with and wed so quickly. He seems to rub in how fast she lost Jake so Johnny snaps to stop ... Gabi explains she is honoring Stefan. Li argues she has been widowed for years. She is still mourning the loss of the man she loved. Li probes and she does not deny Jake was just a replacement for only Stefan had her heart ... - Chanel and Allie are offended. Alex apologizes for his request and asks for the rest of their story. He chews his glasses and slurps his drink again when Chanel admits she wed Allie's twin brother ... Johnny blasts EJ for rubbing in Ava's loss. Ava admits she feels a little raw and assures Johnny she knows his da meant no harm ... Designer Tony offers to have a word with EJ and suggests Kristen belongs somewhere better. Anna suddenly sees Stefan's obituary Kristen had been reading and wonders ... Gabi does not deny Stefan was the love of her life. Li calls him lucky. She argues Stefan is gone and poses no threat. One day she hopes to move on and Li is relieved to realize the door is open. He feels he really knows her and they kiss. Then he assures her he does not mind her wearing Stefan's ring since he is d-e-a-d ... Alex enjoys the rest of the Allie and Chanel story. They believe no one can break them up and kiss. Alex stares ... EJ politely excuses himself to check on the next course. Johnny makes fun of his demanding da and apologizes for his insensitivity. Ava and the prodigal son toast to taking care of each other as fellow DiMeras ... Kristen claims she just wanted to remember Stefan. Anna quips her pal killed him but Kristen blames Vivienne. Tony recalls how even Rolf could not bring him back to life. Anna suspiciously suggests tis time for her and Tony to go. He promises to ask EJ to allow his sister back to the family mansion and she thanks him ... - Gabi changes the subject to dinner. Li claims his father asked for a last minute long distance DiMera update on the phone. Gabi will go ahead and hopes to see him soon ... Back at DiMera mansion Johnny has a few fond words with Ava and steps away for a biz call. EJ returns and announces dessert in five minutes. He apologizes to Ava for his lack of sensitivity and points out he would not wish to cause her more pain. She assures him she gets it and eyes him like a cat ... Allie and Chanel ask Alex his type. He feasts his eyes on Gabi, who has just arrived ... Outside DiMera mansion Tony argues to Anna that Kristen deserves better but she does not buy it. Furthermore Kristen clearly has a sordid secret ... Kristen comes into the lab expecting to see Rolf but Li steps out from behind a curtain in his black turtleneck and gives her an eerie grin ...
