Trask storms into Rafe's office and wants to know what he has on Sloan or whoever broke into Paulina's office ... In an attempt not to worry Abe, phone Paulina pretends she is working a tad late at the office. Enter Dr. Tripp ... Rafe reveals they released Sloan when she denied any wrongdoing. They are still investigating. Trask warns him not to make a mistake cos Sloan could sue. If that happens he is on his own ... Wendy's source was the Spectator. Gabi knows that there is nothing between Stefan and Trask. Wendy wonders why she is so sure ... Back at the mansion Stefan finishes sending a text and sarcastically tells Nicole what went down. EJ is flabbergasted to find out Li found Stefan in the sack with Trask, no sign of Gabi anywhere. Li says Nicole lied or someone pulled a fast one. EJ seethes it was Stefan! - Nicole wonders who Li caught in bed with Stefan. Here comes Melinda Trask acting like his lover ... Gabi scoffs Leo Stark lies and Stefan would not sleep with the D.A. She now asks shy Wendy about Tripp ... Elegant Abe wants to wait for his wife. Paulina fibs she is having the security system checked and ends the call. She updates Tripp on not wanting hubby to worry. Tripp tells her he was sent ahead as cardiologist Dr. Greenburg was called to surgery. She updates him on her palpitations as diagnosed by talented Dr. Talia ... Abe greets recent hire Jada at the square and is glad to hear Rafe is treating her well. He goes on his way and Jada runs into Talia, who boasts about her medical miracle of the day. Jada is sorry to hear Sloan gave Paulina so much stress. Talia asks after the investigation. Jada will only say she hopes to put Peterson in a cell soon. She is off tonight and has nothing planned so Talia tells her to put herself out there. She suggests hunky boss Rafe as relationship material ... Dapper Abe drops by to discuss Sloan with his commiss. Rafe does not have enough yet but will keep digging with Jada. Abe senses something and demands to know whether he has a romantic interest in the lady detective ... EJ angrily wonders how Stefan got Trask on board. Li is livid he looks like a fool and Gabi is lying to him. EJ assures him it will not last long ... Nicole wonders when snuggly Stefan and Trask got together. Stefan wonders why she seems less than enthusiastic ... Tripp will show the cardiologist today's test results and notes it does seem to be a panic attack. Paulina heard about Tripp shacking up at Chanel's. He admits he has her old bed. Paulina wants to discuss her worried daughter and suggests the good doctor take her on a date now that she is a free agent. Tripp seems to blush when she wonders whether there is another who now has his heart. He admits tis Wendy but she is dating Johnny. Paulina urges him to make a move and tell the girl how he feels ... - Gabi teases Wendy about Johnny and Tripp both liking her like they did in Hong Kong. Wendy assumes the flirtation she has with Tripp is a game. Gabi disagrees ... Rafe swears to by the book Abe he is not dating Jada. But he wonders why the department got so strict cos he once dated Hope. Abe argues they were equals and adds he had to change that rule ... Jada tells sis she cannot see Rafe cos of the strict department rules. Besides they are both gun shy ... Back at the mansion Stefan downs his drink as Melinda happily hangs onto him. Nicole probes and points out Stefan has been saying he only wants Gabi. He lies Gabi got cold feet last night, fearful they would be found out cos she loves her dang shares more than him. Nicole gets catty and sarcastic. Melinda whispers into Stefan's ear about her dream and they head to his bedroom like a couple of teenagers ... Li the fool hates feeing like one and blames EJ for making him look bad. EJ insists they are not done for Gabi and Stefan cannot stay away from each other. Li just wants Gabi but EJ warns him he will never get her back so he should try to save his shares. Li warns him he will regret it if he tries to interfere again ,,, Jada and Talia are dining at the pub when Rafe enters. Talia tells him to join them and suggests since there are three of them, it would not be breaking the new rules. Rafe is grateful and will be back soon ... Paulina tells Tripp he was wrong to give up on Wendy just because she is dating another. Get on the field and play the game! She did just that when she met her own hubby. Tripp truly hopes she will heed his advice too and let Abe know about her health scare. Paulina realizes he is right and the good doctor tells her she can go. Paulina appreciates everything ... Wendy senses Gabi was trying to avoid the topic of Stefan. She gets a text and Li enters. He suggests a cozy night at home. Gabi coldly claims Saxton summoned her to discuss the launch and insists on going alone. Li senses a big lie and takes off after her ... EJ and Nicole compare notes about Stefan's stunning save. Nicole knows he and Trask are having a fake fling ... In Stefan's bedroom, he thanks Trask, who wonders why he asked her here. He uses the d word. Decoy ... - Talia teases Rafe and sis for ordering the same thing and leaves with her food to call a friend long distance. Jada and Rafe are now alone at the table ... Tripp gets home and Wendy is ready to join Johnny and friends at the square. She left Tripp some chili. He stops her and announces his feelings for her ... Abe hugs Paulina outside Sweet Bits. She admits she was at the hospital when he called ... Melinda is sitting alone on Stefan's bed moaning his name while EJ and Nicole listen at the door to the fake lovefest. Meanwhile Stefan sneaks down to the DiMera wine cellar for his real date as Li wonders where oh where Gabi went ... Stefan puts petals on the bed and waits for the woman he loves.
