He is grateful she is going after the girl he believes offed his mom but then sees she is stressed. Talia warns his sister Sloan is the main suspect and has no idea that they set this in motion ... Sort of ... - Back at the pub buff Brady is bothered by buff Xander getting close to Chloe. Eric suggests they might simply be friends and believes Chloe is too smart to be fooled. Brady sighs even Nicole fell for his ... act ... Colin sighs he is not surprised the cops suspect his sister but does not want to worry about Talia ... Talia flashes back to stealing the keys from the white purse and insists there is no evidence against Sloan. He is pleased she lifted the keys so there was no forced entry. He boasts sister Sloan is the best lawyer but disagrees when Talia suggests they come clean to her. He warns she could not even know something so illegal without risking her law license ... Jada informs Rafe that she knows Talia returned home that night much later than she said in her statement ... Alex greets Chanel at the square and asks about Leo's story of her and Johnny in the Spectator. She complains Leo lied again and apologizes for calling the paper crap. Alex is sorry for what is happening to her business. She complains about his girlfriend Sloan and he updates her on them being done quite a while. Chanel scandalously suggests he seduce her and get her confession when she least expects it. Alex is sorry for her plight but says no way. He is seeing someone new. Chanel implores him to stop the Sloan nightmare ... - Pink designer dress Sloan confronts little hack Leo outside the pub. She wants to share some dirt too. Le Leo is listening. She reveals there is a budding romance between the commiss and his pretty new detective ... Rafe apologizes again for his behavior on the night in question. But he wonders what Jada wants to do about her sister not telling the truth ... Talia flirtily reminds user boyfriend Colin she put her whole medical career on hold. He swears he will make it all up to her. She gets exasperated when Jada calls. Jada wants clarification on something she said to Rafe cos she was not home as early as she claimed. Jada stammers she went to the store for aspirin for a headache and went for a long walk as well. After the call she starts to worry ... Rafe senses Jada's upset and she does not deny it. Something is off ... Leo explains he likes dirt on questionable characters not the Commiss. Sloan tells him of his tongue finding its way to Jada and suggests Leo could expose the truth. These are strict Salem days as per Mayor Abe. Leo would love to be the Robert Redford in this movie. Sloan fuels him on and he gets more stars in his beady eyes ... - Back to Brady and Eric ... Brady blames himself for not helping Chloe with Kristen. Eric still does not believe Xander poses a problem. Brady sighs he himself is the problem ... Chloe complains she has no job or life and needs an affordable home nicer than such a motel. Xander teases she needs a step down and he needs a step up so they should get together as roomies and meet halfway. Alas she could not afford half the rent he could now afford given he owns a newspaper. He proposes they make their place look like he does not live there but she refuses to be his housekeeper. Tis not the case. He is trying to help a broke mate to make up for the past. He promises to keep it platonic and be a neat roommate. His charm seems sincere ... Chanel giggles about Alex's sessions with Marlena. He is truly trying to be a better man, hence his turning down Chanel's suggestion ... Colin is mad Talia made up a last minute alibi. He reminds her that beech Chanel offed his beloved mother. Talia tells him she believed Chanel's story about London. Colin shouts about her mother covering up that she killed his motha. He questions whether Talia is still on his side ... - Jada sensed something was off when she talked to Talia. Rafe offers to assign her to another case. Jada notes tis too late now. Ominous music plays ... Eric pep talks Brady about having faith in Chloe and he agrees, laughing tis not like she and Xander are moving in together ... Xander is already looking at places online with Chloe ... Chanel calls Alex courageous for getting therapy. He offers to help her biz financially. She has Paulina for that but is touched by his generosity. She marvels her new hire even offered to work without pay ... Colin convinces Talia they are the good guys. He refuses to take a break from the plan, kisses her hand and coos he loves her. She sighs she loves him and leaves, only to run into Chloe and Xander in the hall. Chloe brings up her working at Sweet Bits and he wonders whether she sold Chloe a tainted biscuit! Talia stammers she is sorry and takes off. Chloe blasts Xander for acting like the innocent employee was to blame ... Jada deduces her sister who went to med school would have had access to the drugs. Rafe argues she had no motive. Jada agrees and brings up Sloan again since she had the most motive ... Leo is highly suspicious of Sloan's motives but she knows what she saw and suggests Lady Whistleblower could blow up the entire investigation. Leo looks verrrrry tempted ... STAY BLOODY TUNED!
