Rafe hates having so much paperwork at the station. Nicole appears, angry Ava got all charges dropped ... Marlena gives Eric a hearty hug at the pub and thanks her son for saving her soul ... CEO Gabi reads about Ava's freedom deal and is further irked when free EJ arrives at her office wearing a blue sweater and a smug smile. He is innocent ... At the station Shawn begs Belle to return home. She bitterly blasts him for lying about sleeping with the schemestress and keeping his wife in the dark for so many days about the incident. If only he had confided in her. He cannot change the devil’s past misdeeds but believes he can prove himself and get them back on track ... Eric is upset the devil flew into his sister and he did not know ... EJ sits and states he wants his old job back. He blames the devil for getting rid of him. Gabi tells him Johnny was the one who offered her the position and then made a play ... Ava is worried when she realizes Jake's heart is racing. She removes her hand and apologizes. She assures him he can count on her. He goes to shower ... Shawn assures Belle she does not need to have Jan in her life and suggests she might change after having the baby. Shawn now gets a call from Statesville ... Rafe apologizes for being busy with the paperwork. Nicole talks break but gets a tad tense when he suggests the pub ... Eric pours himself coffee, apologizes again and Marlena updates him on Belle believing Johnny was the devil ...EJ hears all about Gabi's brunette ambitions not to mention Johnny’s devil days. She brushes off his biz ambition and he warns he will put her in her place ... Nicole is about to tell Rafe about Eric but Ava interrupts ... Gabi is miffed someone has barged into her office, but is stunned to see tis Jake ... Eric is worried for Belle. Marlena updates him on Jan’s baby … Belle storms off when Shawn gets a call from the she devil… Eric sits at Marlena’s table to further talk. He informs his curious mom he is committed to the church while Nicole has her own commitment now … Nicole tells off Ava for setting up Rafe. Ava wants to apologize to Gwen. Nicole notes she does not deserve to be free. Rafe suggests Nicole head to the pub. He will follow soon and refuses to let Ava remain in his office alone … Jake surprises Gabi with a solemn subject he came to discuss. The devil … Shawn meets preggers Jan Spears in the slammer and tells her to make it fast. She cries she is afraid. He snaps to stop the games and say what she is really after … EJ summons Belle to the mansion to help him remove Johnny as CEO. Easier said than done unless he can get Johnny back to town to sign over his shares and get Gabi out and EJ in. EJ is disappointed to hear it and now asks how she fares ... Jan claims to have a medical condition which means she must rest in bed until the pregnancy is over. She cannot stay here for another second and she wants out of the slammer … Jake updates groomed Gabi on punching devil Johnny. Gabi regrets losing Jake over the position. She wonders whether he believes Johnny is now the devil …Rafe informs Ava that Gwen has no interest in seeing her. Neither does he for that matter and he warns they might be Statesville roomies … Eric informs Marlena that Nicole is with Rafe. But he does not deny the power she holds over his feelings. Nicole arrives and their eyes lock …Jake decides to depart and updates curious Gabi on himself and Ava now sharing their own side of the bed .. Marlena leaves the pub as Nicole arrives and apologizes to Eric. He gushes she deserves a good guy who can share his whole heart. Rafe enters and notices the hand holding .. Belle cries to EJ she wishes she could turn back the clock and stop Jan having her way with Shawn. She sighs she loves her hubby and EJ hugs her … Shawn comes back to Jan, having discussed what to do with the prison doctor. Jan deduces she warned him the same thing – that if she had to stay in the slammer the baby would not survive … Jake comes back to the apartment and now remembers Johnnydevil's eyes.. But he does not tell Ava. Meanwhile Gabi promises herself she will get Jake away from Ava ... Rafe is pleasantly surprised to see Eric back for a visit. Eric wishes him and Nicole the best ... Belle feels like all is lost. EJ praises and pep talks her until she feels better ... Jan insists it would be best if she were under house arrest - at shocked Shawn’s home! STAY BLOODY TUNED!
