TR tries to spin by stating the dealer might have wanted a hit for his nerves. Paulina wonders whether Rafe thinks he was not the real shooter ... Lani likes the flowers from sister Chanel and woefully watches Salem patient Eli sleeping. Lani praises Paulina for caring but when she says TR has been supportive Chanel is surprised ... At DiMera mansion Johnnydevil's eyes are aglow as Allie demands he face her ... Suspicious Rafe vows to do right by Eli. Paulina has faith in him ... Lani and Chanel agree TR acts nice at times. Chanel adds he allowed her and Allie out of their movie contracts unlike cold hearted Johnny ... Johnny faces Allie as she confronts him for outing her and Chanel to Tripp. She wonders why the bad blood ... Leopard jacket Gabi now knows the Jake she thought she heard was the devil but he is bitter she sided with Johnny and killed his career. He accuses her of wanting him to be Stefan. She denies it. He scoffs she still wears his ring around her neck and departs for his room above the garage. - Outside the pub Ava accuses Nicole of betrayal. Nicole taunts her Rafe setup was a bust and dares her to deal with her! Ava smacks her with a very Vitali smile. Words are exchanged and Nicole hits back. Jake appears and pulls Ava back from the fight ... Rafe suspiciously tells TR that Eli was interviewing former flame Beth before heading to the park. He is not done investigating. Paulina thanks him for the latest. Rafe tells TR he hopes he really has changed as Lani says. He walks out and TR gets tense ... Lani is surprised to hear sister Chanel and Allie are now together ... Allie wanted to tell Tripp herself but Johnny had a vested interest as Chanel sneaking around with his sister makes him look bad. Allie does not recognize this version of the brother she used to love. Ominous music plays as she inches closer to the inconvenient unholy truth ... Sonny comes over and glum Gabi needs a hug. He wonders if she is alright. She will be and cries when he hands her the bracelet Ari made her. Sonny promises Ari and Will are coming back soon but her upset is over Jake ... She gathers Jake's girlfriend Gabi will be smug. He sighs they split up. They decide to have a dink together and share their tales of woe ... - Lani is very surprised. Chanel states Allie identifies as bi. Perhaps she is too. Lani listens as little sister explains they are exploring their feelings and all is wonderful. Lani asks about Johnny. Alas he no longer seems like the man she married ... Allie wonders where the bro she loves went. Johnny tries to shout from inside the devil he is still here but his voice is suppressed ... TR gets a text he says is from a producer and apologizes for having to leave. He tells Paulina all the right things and even gets a hug. Meanwhile Rafe ends a call with Abe in his office. Nicole enters but winces when he touches her face. She admits it was Ava ... Ava holds a compress to her face as Jake drinks his ale and updates her on the devil’s impersonation breaking up him and Gabi, whom he thinks is not over his dead twin. Ava suggests they celebrate him escaping the serpent ... Gabi insists to Sonny that Jake was wrong about her still wanting Stefan. She fell for Jake for real. However, she did turn on him a tad too fast ... Johnnydevil tells curious Allie he only married Chanel to sock it to her. Allie calls it all abnormal. Real Johnny yells it is not him but still she hears nothing ... Jake hears Ava was staying at a motel in Brookville but came back when Rafe was freed. He accused her of setting him up for cheating. Jake stares her in the eye and asks if she did it ... Nicole reveals to Rafe she gave as good as she got. Rafe suggests she call him next time. She tried. He is sorry. He was busy working on Eli's complex case ... Lani wishes Chanel and Allie the best. Tis late so she is heading home to the kids. Chanel is so sorry. Lani snaps only Eli's shooter should be sorry ... TR has summoned Beth, who swears she did not tell the commiss about his drug use and abuse. TR warns her to keep her mouth shut about Eli cos it could blow up for them both ... Allie senses Johnny is hiding something as real Johnny yells at the devil to let him out ... Jake teases Ava and wonders whether he would know any of the names involved in Rafe's setup. She would never want to make Jake an accessory after the fact and praises him for turning his back on the mob. He praises her right back and they drink to that with a glint in their eye ... - Nicole shares her view with Rafe that men like TR never change ... TR hears Beth met with director Johnny DiMera and probes. She pretends she let him believe she got the role for sleeping with him but remembers really admitting she was keeping a secret. TR seems satisfied and alludes to debts. Beth laughs he is after his rich ex to finance the film. He does not deny it ... Johnnydevil shouts to shut up and tells astounded Allie he was not addressing her ... Sonny offers stressed Gabi some tea and assures her she will overcome. She complains Kate said she would always be alone. He laughs not to listen to Kate cos she is never alone. She has her brother, Ari, Will and him ... Ava is staying in Salem but has no place now. Jake suggests she stay with him for a while. She grins she is a good cook, agrees, and they toast in Italian ... Rafe sighs only Eli knows what really happened ... Lani heads home to Paulina, who reveals Ray was here when Abe dropped by. The changed man was wonderful with the babies ... Chanel is unable to reach Allie ... The struggle between good and evil continues. Concerned Allie wants to help her tormented twin. She stares in horror as the eyes of the devil glow at her and he rages to leave him alone.
