There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... JJ is concerned to come across a carefully left envelope in front of the Horton house door. It contains a bullet. Paige appears and gasps. JJ swears her to secrecy, suspecting Clyde. He insists she leave, explaining he believes they are being watched ... Aiden is on yet another ominous phone call, muttering about doing what he knows he must do ... Meanwhile Eric hangs his head at the club with Hope, upset that Serena's service had such a small gathering. He wonders whether Chad is the only suspect. Hope now spies Chad at the counter of his club. So does Eric. She stops him from confronting the DiMera, who is wearing black ... At the hospital Abi has overheard an astonishing phone call between a cop and Rafe. She hears they have found a key close to the scene of the crime. Said key is to the grand DiMera front gate. Abigail immediately calls Chad to meet. It is of the utmost importance ... As Rafe and Roman discuss the key D.A. Justin enters demanding Chad's immediate arrest. Rafe thinks all the clues are too convenient. Justin tries to pull rank and thunders at him Kiriakis style. But Rafe will not back down, even when Roman seems to side with the D.A. ... JJ sent Paige ahead to the park, where he now meets with her in private. He explains to the frazzled female that he must go rogue and catch Clyde on his own. She wants to help. He warns her it is too dangerous and promises to protect her. Perhaps then one day they can talk about what happened instead of her just hating him. She gasps she does not hate him. JJ feels hopeful for a fleeting moment ... Ben paces at the apartment like an angry animal. Abigail is late for their wedding planner meeting and is not answering his texts. He fumes and uses the app to track her whereabouts ... Abigail and Chad are conferring at the club. He laughs like a nervous wreck when she updates him on the cops having a key to the DiMera gate. The missing key is indeed his ... As Rafe refuses to do Justin's bidding and the DA orders him to do his job, Hope appears with Eric ... At the Kiriakis mansion, Victor points out Bo and Hope were in Tahiti together and he may have remembered wrong. Steve warns him HE might be right and another party might have forged the letter. Victor snaps they need to find the truth and Bo, though he had not told him anything about an ISA mission. Steve knows exactly the man to talk to for answers ... Far away prisoner Bo has a bushy beard. He groans in pain, barely able to move from his captors' beatings ... JJ tells Paige to talk about the bullet to no one and she gives him a sweet kiss on the cheek before walking away. The star crossed lovers cannot imagine this was their last kiss goodbye ... Chad comes clean to Abigail about drinking and kissing Serena, who slapped him that fateful night. However, he has forgotten everything else from that night and fears he could indeed be a killer just like Stefano ... Justin urges Detective Hope to tell Detective Rafe to do his job and storms out. Hope finds out about the DiMera key as a clue or piece of evidence but refuses to go against Rafe, who is grateful. Roman heads to his office to speak with his saddened son. Rafe realizes Hope has plans to pick up Ciara and explains he seeks a solid case, one built on facts and evidence, not noise. She smiles in understanding ... At DiMera mansion Stefano has an unexpected visitor. Aiden apologizes to the boss for breaking the rules by coming to his home but he needs his money now. The phoenix is not amused ... JJ is on the phone with his DEA boss and pretends there is nothing new to report. He insists he will get the job done ... Rafe catches up with Paige at the square to go over her statement again and asks one more question. The girl is jumpy and glances around ... In his office Roman cannot console guilt-ridden Eric enough - or give him an update on the Serena murder investigation. The former father is troubled there were too few people in attendance at her service and she was taken too young. The cops must catch the killer before they strike again ... Ben has tracked his fiancee. He puts on his best British accent and calls the club. He learns Chad is in his office having a private meeting. Then he curses ... Abigail tenderly tells Chad he is not capable of murder. She makes light of his lies and dramatically declares he is nothing like Stefano, he does not have a violent bone in his body. She again praises him for protecting her from father phoenix and gazes at him. He gazes back and gets closer. Abigail laments she has to leave and glides out. Chad blinks his blue eyes ... Stefano does not believe there is an emergency as hire Aiden has said. Aiden exclaims he cannot wait, he has to have the money he promised him for making Hope fall in love with him NOW. Stefano scoffs ...Hope brings Ciara home to their empty house to discuss Aiden. Ciara already senses he proposed and says so. She urges her mother to say yes cos she wants her to be happy and also wants to wear the costly earrings from Sami at the ceremony ... Abi calls Ben and apologizes for forgetting about the wedding planner. She admits she was at the club and claims she felt woozy and needed a cup of tea. Ben suggests she stay away from Chad's club in the future cos that DiMera is going to be arrested for murder. Abigail wishes he would not rush to judgment but Ben believes an arrest is imminent ... As Chad conceals himself around the corner, Rafe asks perturbed Paige if she heard anything Chad said to Serena when he went after her. She did not hear and is sorry she did not call the cops... Stefano is angered Aiden expects the money now. The agreement was he gets the money when Hope marries him and has forgotten all about BO. He dangerously warns the deceiver that he knows his illustrious past in case he attempts to expose him ... John and Patchman hug at the pub as one former ISA man to a current ISA man. They sit at a table and Steve gets straight to the point. It is about Bo. John admits he informed him he was going deep undercover with the ISA. It was about the DiMeras with international implications. Steve seeks his assistance cos the Bo he knows would not abandon his family. John is not so sure about that but agrees to do some digging around the ISA ... Stefano snarls Hope has not accepted yet. Aiden sneers she will since he has got her under his thumb ... Roman must leave his office. Eric starts to pray, seeking answers from God ... When Rafe steps away, Chad emerges and grabs Paige by the arm, demanding she tell him what she said to Rafe. Paige snaps she spoke the truth. Chad exclaims she is wrong. She tells him not to touch her and takes off. Rafe is still lurking in the vicinity ... Paige calls JJ and gasps to meet her at her dorm room. She needs to tell him something. Jump Street JJ is on his way ... Hope assures Ciara that no one will ever replace BO. Mother and daughter embrace. Once alone, Hope stares at a photograph of her with Bo and Ciara in happier times. She flashes back to their romance, kisses, then the time he promised to return, the let down letter that followed. Then came Aiden. By the time Hope has taken out the ring he gave her, she is in tears but not tears of joy ... Prisoner Bo is not giving up! He coughs and starts to make scratching sounds at the wall, determined to get out ... JJ is looking for Paige. He finds her in the shower at her dorm but she is dry. Paige's lifeless form lies on the tiles fully clothed, a shiny red necktie draped around her slender dead neck. JJ recoils in SOAP HORROR! THE END |
