LETHAL WEAPON!

In the Kiriakis foyer, Brady wants to know what Ari means when
she says it is not like real drug dealing. He asks her to tell him the
full story. She cries and agrees. She sold drugs and wound up in prison. Brady is all ears. "I'm working undercover for the police," says she. She asks him to take her word for it. When he hesitates, she laments it was a mistake and races out. Ari and Brady hook up together later, in her room, and she continues her true story. The undercover operation was something she agreed to, so she would
get an early release. And then she fell in love with him. Now what
to do? No one else can know her secret, for if so, she would risk being sent back to prison - and a certain death. But the operation is tough and she is not close enough to the big boss. Brady gallantly announces she needs help and he knows just the right person for the job ...!
- At the police station, Bo assumes Hope told Victor that Carly was hiding at their house. Nope. He figured it out himself and the sooner Carly is out of his life the better. Vic walks away. Now Hope turns on the Greek tycoon. Nevertheless, he is convinced he did the right thing. Not only has he not allowed Carly to sink her teeth into Bo, there was also payback involved! He concludes by advising Hope to keep Carly as far as possible from her husband, and departs.
- Interpol agents are at Carly's cell to escort her away for extradition. She implores Justin to do something, as she would be killed in the land of Lawrence. Bo makes for Carly's cell and buys her a delay
by telling the Interpol agents, this is his jail so he calls the shots. Justin declares he just got an idea and takes off. Carly asks Bo not
to blame Hope. Justin later returns with news. He got her a deal. She will be released into Bo's custody Carly is against it. The two fellas try to convince her, without success. Bo suggests Justin leave them alone. He does. The commiss informs Carly that if she would rather run off and get herself killed, so be it. He will not stand in her way. However, she should consider the other important reason she came back to Salem ...
- Bo has finally convinced Carly to agree to the terms of her release. She laments her staying with Bo and Hope will only give them more problems. Victor happens by and alludes to the fact that that is exactly what she wants! He threatens her not to ruin Bo's life.
When Bo later informs Hope that Justin has arranged for Carly to
be released into Bo's custody, Hope gives him the cold shoulder and praises Justin.
- At the DiMera mansion, Nicole is uncomfortable with the idea of having Rafe offed. The phoenix explains sometimes one must rid oneself of a problem. Nicole suggests paying him off. Stefano quips Samantha seems to mean more to that man than money. Nicole states she could not live with herself. Stefano advises her to find a way, for it is now out of her hands. He sternly informs her she will leave the baby there and instructs maid Mary to take her to the kitchen for a treat. Nicole quietly walks out, aware that she cannot
go against her powerful father-in-law. Stefano calls his hitman and declares he has a problem to take care of - Rafael Hernandez. Enter Elvis, who has overheard. "What exactly are you planning to do with Rafael Hernandez?" He frowns. Stefano covers but EJ knows what line of work Mateo the hitman does. Did fatha put out a hit on Hernandez or not! He is concerned of the effect such a move would have on Samantha, the mother of his child. Stefano is exasperated
to hear what he calls his son's toxic Sami obsession. They argue.
Elvis demands to know if fatha wants Hernandez dead. Stefano sidesteps. He wants his son to trust him, as all that he does is for
him. Elvis humors him and then walks out, aware that he is trying to play him! He makes a call, to find the location of Rafe ...
- Rafe informs Sami she needs to know the real truth about Sydney. He is not sure where to begin, but it will change everything. Sami presumes he has uncovered the identity of Sydney's bio parents.
She assumes Chad is the father. Poor Nicole! Rafe says no. Chad
is not the father. Sami would like to call Nicole, but Rafe stops her. Sami realizes this is not about Nicole, so what then? Rafe announces it is good news. Enter Will. The teen snaps at him to get out. After
all he put Sami thru! Rafe's phone rings and he hears the results are in, as Sami and Will disagree in the background. No more waiting. The results are in! Rafe kisses a perplexed Sami and takes off. Sami wants to take off after him. Will is appalled. Sami suspects there is more to his overreaction. There is indeed. Will is still smarting from his breakup with Mia.
- At the Brady pub, Nicole leaves a message for Stefano to call her. Mia has just arrived and wonders why Nicole is nervous about things going wrong. She did everything they asked of her and has lost Will and her friends. Nicole says she is not the only one who has made sacrifices. Mia wants to know what is going on. Nicole talks about needing only Sydney despite the madness around them. Mia glumly agrees. When she walks outside, she runs into Will, who all but denounces her.
Inside the pub, Sami soon comes across Nicole. She would like to know what is going on between her and Rafe ...
- EJ finds out that Rafe is at Pier 27. So be it ...
- Rafe is alone at the pier, awaiting his contact with the DNA test results. He soon shows up with said results. Rafe is ready. His pal leaves him alone on the pier. Rafe looks at the results. Exactly what he knew he would find. "Sami is Sydney's mother ...!"
- Meanwhile, the assassin of the phoenix calls boss Stefano, as he now has the target in his sights. The phoenix lowers his voice and orders him to get rid of said problem! And so the assassin takes aim at our hero with his gun ...!

"You are not to ask me any questions about my work!" Stefano warns Kate.
"You and Rafe both know something," Sami tells Nicole.
EJ attends to Rafe, who is lying on the pier. "Rafe! Talk to me! Rafe!"

Viv's assistant Gus informs her that one Carly Manning has been placed under arrest. Madame is delighted to hear that the felonista
is to be extradited. She prepares to leave for Salem ...
- Bo visits Carly at her prison cell. He has been fighting with Interpol about her extradition. Carly would like to know who turned her in. Once alone, she has a hallucination of Lawrence trying to strangle
her thru the bars.
Meanwhile, Hope and Justin are en route to the police station. They soon arrive and Bo demands to know which one ratted out Carly. Neither. Bo has his doubts, which leads Hope to become offended. When Interpol shows up, Bo tries to reason with them. Carly is as good as dead if they extradite her. No deal. Justin thinks Bo is too involved and should allow Carly to make her own decisions in the matter. Hope repeats she did not rat out Carly. Meanwhile. Justin visits the felonista at her cell. He will assist her, but only if she tells all. Meanwhile, Interpol has the extradition order . Hope later tries to assist Bo but all he wants to know is who turned in Carly. As if on cue, Victor enters, announcing that would be him!
- Caroline is baffled about Ari's announcement that she has decided to quit as pub manager. She wishes Brady would intervene.
- Down at the pier, Rafe discusses the DNA delay with his FBI contact. Along comes Elvis. Rafe ends the call and they give each other the evil eye. EJ wonders what he is doing back in town. Rafe warns him to mind his own business. He points out he and Sami
have reconciled. EJ brings up the fact that sister Ari is not aware of his presence in Salem. Rafe refuses to discuss her with the likes of Master DiMera, who is quick to point out that he has a strong sense of family, including his bond with Samantha due to little Johnny!
- Meanwhile, Nicole is horrified to hear that Rafe is back in Salem. Sami is elated and boasts he is working on a top secret case that will apparently change her life. Nicole is a wreck and wants details. Sami has none. Nicole moans that everything will be ruined.
- Dan and Chloe are at the hospital, where they get Chloe's test results. The doc bears unhappy news. The cancer treatment she received damaged her ovarian tissue, which made her eggs for the most part ineffectual, so there is only a 2 % chance that she will
ever be able to conceive. The doc suggests donor eggs, then leaves saddened Chloe alone with Daniel. She would like to go home.
Back at the apartment, they wind up in bed together, and she decides to focus on their future together ...
- Back at DiMera mansion, Nicole updates the phoenix on the return of Rafe Hernandez. She is convinced itis the beginning of the end! Stefano is more blase.
- Back at Sami's, Rafe comes back to spend some time with her while waiting on those DNA test results. He alludes to the fact that there was a delay in the secret operation he is currently working on. Sami thinks he is a sexy secret agent. Rafe mentions that EJ has
seen him and now knows he is in town. When he hears that Sami told Nicole as well, he looks serious.
- Elvis heads to the pub, to find Arianna, and is more than a bit surprised when Caroline tells him she has quit. He goes upstairs to speak with her and overhears her leaving a message for Rafe. She is moving out, will explain later. Elvis pauses for a moment, then takes his leave. Ari sadly remembers her romance with Brady.
- At the grand house of Kiriakis, Brady is sullen. Victor does the math and adds now that he knows, he will call Bo to arrest the little minx drug dealer. Brady points out there is no evidence. Besides, he would rather just stop her from dealing. The Greek tycoon becomes impatient and calls his grandson naive. Ari later shows up, hoping
for a word with Brady. She insists she has a good reason for what she was doing. Perhaps it would make a difference if she told him everything?
- Elvis is soon back at DiMera mansion, where he tells fatha about Samantha and Rafe being back together. He is also now aware of a connection between the Hernandez clan and DNA tests. Does he know what it might be? Stefano pretends to assume Hernandez got
a girl pregnant. When EJ has left the room, Nicole returns, to continue the discussion. The phoenix has made a deadly decision.
It is time to take care of Rafe Hernandez!
- Meanwhile, Rafe declares he is ready to tell Sami the truth ...!
