Caroline cannot escape the image of Bo she sees flashing right before her eyes. The plane crash, the fact that Bo is not moving leads her to fear the worst. She believes Bo was trying to come home but could not ... Victor arrives with Maggie and asks what has her so upset. Julie and Doug watch as Caroline complains her vision indicated Bo was not longer in the land of the living ... Abigail is at home waiting for Ben. She ends up picking up his cell phone and sees something that surprises her to the core - secret photos of Chad, who was evidently unaware that Ben was following him. She is even further startled when Ben enters and sees what she was doing. He stares at her with his hollow eyes. Abigail starts to feel uneasy ... At DiMera mansion slick suited Stefano and Andre are ready to get to the gala. The phoenix grins they are going to paint Salem RED tonight. He laughs a diabolical laugh and wicked Andre grins, dutifully pushing fatha's wheelchair ... The plane has crashed. Dead calm ensues. Steve wakes up in his seat, his face covered with blood but he is alive. So is Bo, who now stands up. He teases the cargo was heavy due to the enormous ego Steve carries around with him. Steve checks on Pete the pilot, then points out to Bo the dude cannot walk with his injured ankle, though he is threatening to sue Bo. It all seems trivial compared to the crash. Bo asks his buddy about their whereabouts. Kansas. Bo knows Salem is not far and starts the trek on foot, his friend at his side. They should be able to find a farmhouse with a phone ... Hope twirls in her new wedding dress at the house. Aiden watches through the window and accidentally knocks over a pot. Hope opens the door and finds no one there ... Marlena is at the party, looking like the Alice in Wonderland of the 1960s scene. The costume matches her mood, for she is lost - without her John. Newspaper photographer Eric snaps pictures of the guests and sympathizes with her saddened state. She sighs Will and Sonny should have been here ... Adrienne and Lucas are a date at the gala. Jen wonders where oh where Abigail could be. JJ is not in the frame of mind for any kind of party and wonders about Lucas and Adrienne. Jen admits she is unable to keep track of what the status of Adrienne and Justin is on any given day. Enter elegant Eve on Justin's arm. The couples exchange a cordial greeting and try to get away from each other. Adrienne appears less than thrilled to see them together ... At the station, Rafe sighs about having to be the best man. Lani informs him she too was invited to the gala anyway and suggests they accompany each other. Rafe agrees though no one should have the wrong impression as he is her boss. She agrees but he casts her a roguish glance regardless ... Hope tells herself t'was the wind and heads upstairs. Aiden is still lurking outside waiting ... Marlena tells Eric how she wishes John were here and wonders why he had to go the way he did. It is too hard without him here. John stands in the doorway now, doing justice to his tuxedo. Marlena melts as he emotionally announces he could not stay away. A couple in love on the plane reminded him of them and he flew right back from New York. She asks about the ISA. He drawls the ISA will have to accept they will need another agent for this mission or any mission from now on for he is home to stay with the woman he loves. But what about his past? He is more interested in his future with her, his family. They embrace and walk in together arm in arm ... Abigail accuses Ben of stalking Chad ... Back at Martin mansion Roman broaches the subject of JJ the future cop to Jen, who assumes the idea is over and done. JJ explains he actually handed in his application. Jen lectures him for lying to her about it. JJ walks away from her and Gabi, who has seen and heard, tries to make him feel better. Roman advises Jen to accept JJ as an adult ... Nicole and Kate admire Dan and Brady's vintage suits. Nicole notes Theresa played a part. Kate now praises Theresa's dress and the girl gushes it is her own creation. Kate cackles it looks like a knockoff of a couple of designers and taunts her unoriginal. Brady cannot bear it and snaps at Kate to shut up. Kate coldly steps away and Theresa smiles and thanks him ... Ciara and Chase arrive happy to see Shawn. Shawn grins he and Chase are going to be brothers but where is the groom? Aiden the groom from hell waited for Hope to leave and then went into the house. He hides his killer costume and telltale necktie in a trunk and imagines how he is going to strangle his bride tonight on their wedding night. He starts to sweat ...Ben darkly stares and does not deny following Chad. He had to cos Chad was not leaving Abigail alone and she was refusing to stop seeing him at times. Abigail takes another look and gasps in horror. The time stamps of the days he followed Chad were the same as the days of the murders! Dangerous music plays ...Hope is now at the party and Julie complains about Caroline sharing the vision she thought she had of Bo. Hope wants the wedding to change the matriarch's mind, make her accept she has moved on with Aiden and her visions are not even real ... Rafe the reluctant best man arrives with the lovely Lani on his arm. She asks him about Aiden. Rafe admits he does not know him well ... Aiden is now at the party and heads to Hope. He plays the role of the smitten groom to perfection. Hope falls for every compliment every smooth maneuver ... D.A. Justin tells elegant Eve he is elated to be here with her ... Ben angrily grabs his phone back and accuses Abigail of trying to help Chad again by getting him off the hook. He growls he is getting changed, removes his shirt, and steps away. But he stops when Abigail answers a call from her mother. She whispers Ben has been acting strange. Ben watches and listens, not blinking ... As Eric takes pictures of the couples and company, the guests mingle. Roman wishes Shawn would move back from Maine with Belle ...Brady lets Theresa know he is here for her if Kate continues to give her a hard time. The girl gazes at him ... Caroline looks as though she has seen a ghost. Silence descends as the dastardly DiMeras arrive. Andre pushes in Stefano's wheelchair and they both smile a wicked smile. Victor scowls they took a wrong turn. Stefano insists he has every right to be here, as he too is s resident of Salem. Victor suggests he hit the road in his batmobile. Andre crossly counters they will be sorry for their unwarranted righteous indignation! The phoenix finds out his donation check was not and never will be cashed. Andre adds they are here to wish the blushing bride their very best. Hope hisses to take their wishes to hell. Stefano cackles cara has not changed and chuckles happy returns as he leaves with Andre ... Bo and Steve find an unfriendly farmer in Kansas, who agrees to let Bo use his phone. Steve hands him a hundred bucks when he disagrees with long distance ... Bo calls but Hope does not hear her ringing phone, which was left on a table at the gala. She is too busy being waltzed around the ballroom with the groom who wants her dead. Bo curses he got cut off before he could leave a voice mail. The farmer demands more money, then relents when Patchman points out his pal is more than a little bit dangerous ... Stefano is back at the mansion, smug about the unfortunate incident that is about to befall Hope. He intends to head to bed. Andre the elusive explains he has certain matters to attend to ... Back at the gala, Gabi invites JJ to explore the rest of the old house with her ... Nicole approaches Eric, apologetic that Kate insisted on offering the fashion photography position to a famous Italian Nicole did not imagine would accept. Eric calmly claims he is satisfied with his situation at the newspaper and steps away. Vintage Dan stares after him as the ex-priest grabs a drink and downs it to numb his pain. Nicole, however, does not seem to notice ... Theresa tries to find Brady when all of a sudden the sleeve of her dress pops,almost exposing her bosom. She holds the sleeve to prevent any exposure and asks Brady about Tate. He assures her he checked and he is fine, then teases her about the almost wardrobe malfunction ...Clueless phone Jen convinces her daughter that Ben must have been worried about her going near Chad the dangerous DiMera. Abigail explains it is almost as if Ben needs Chad to be guilty. Shirtless Ben stares at her from the shadows like a vampire. Abigail ends the call and jumps when she sees him standing there. He scared her! Ben's voice sounds dead. "DID I?" He ominously adds he heard everything she said. Abigail is indignant he listened. He is indignant she told her mother he was strange. They argue and he angrily insists Chad is guilty. Abigail is anxious to get to the gala and can no longer meet his gaze. But Ben blocks her at the door and rages he can NEVER let her go now! The fair Abigail freezes in fright ... Theresa assures helpful Brady she will be able to fix her sleeve with a safety pin in her purse. She climbs the staircase ... Julie and Doug discreetly give Aiden and Hope their privacy. The almost bride and groom kiss ... Outside Caroline sits in the beautiful lit garden alone, upset no one has believed her. All of a sudden her phone rings. She wonders who it could be and answers. Bo gets straight to the point. "Ma, it's me!" Lucid Caroline gasps BO! Far away her son smiles, very much ALIVE. THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: There is no way out for Abigail! Bo gets Caroline to help his cause. The wedding night is near ... Tom and Alice are honored. |
