At DiMera mansion, Chad is distraught, unable to focus on work. He accidentally knocks over a desk photo of Kristen and looks at the sister he lost. Enter Marlena, there to tell her story before Stefano spins what happened ... At the club Kate and martini are miffed to come across Lucas with her top designer from Mad World. Lucas excuses Audra and gives mommy dearest a wakeup call. He is the new head of Countess W for the DiMeras! Kate suspects Stefano. He enlightens her on Chad approaching him and his accepting. She hisses he cannot have her top designer. He meets her angry glare with a cold one and claims to have left an opening in the contract ... Eve is still seated with Theresa and tells her she suspects she still wants Brady ... In the hospital room, John looks at the baby Brady is holding. Brady smiles to meet his son. John is stunned, his eyes filled with emotion. Brady sighs it is a long story involving Kristen. John mutters Kristen??? Just then the doctor arrives who was asked to do a second set of tests on the baby. Brady hopes he is alright ... Cole lounges on a park bench, smug about his setup of unsuspecting JJ ... Roman stands at the Horton house front door and admits he has to find out whether JJ is back to dealing drugs. JJ protests. Paige pouts it is unfair. Jen is indignant. Abigail as well. Roman sheepishly explains he has to follow up on tips. Jen scoffs ... The doctor puts papa Brady at ease by explaining a second set of tests is always advisable. Brady hands him over. John now takes his son out of the room for a talk. He is relieved to learn Christopher's condition is treatable and marvels he has a grandson. When Brady mentions the mother is Theresa, John's eyes narrow ... Theresa drowns in a sea of emotion as she states Kristen stole her baby from her plus precious time she would have had with Brady! Amid her tears and fears, however, she makes it clear she needs her space. Eve suspects it is because she has a plan to get Brady back ... Chad snaps he already knows his sister died. There is no need for Marlena to shrink him. The blonde blinks. Turns out she was sent by little man Johnny DiMera, with whom she has been in touch. Johnny told him how worried he was about Uncle Chad. She now admits she was with Kristen when it happened, when she fell ... Brady gushes he feels great but numb. John grins he got his baby overnight. However, he cannot claim to be thrilled about Theresa. Brady stops him, stating all that matters at the moment is his infant son. The former pawn pauses. It is like finding out he has a son overnight. He hugs him with heartfelt congratulations adding he has something to tell him as well but it can wait .The elevator door opens and out steps PAUL ... Jen exclaims JJ was in class at the time of the alleged park pushing. JJ stammers he overslept. He starts to lose his cool and dares Roman to search his bag, not realizing what is hidden inside, waiting to be found ... Back at the mansion, Marlena speaks the facts but wants to make Chad see that nothing was simple in Kristen's world. Chad is dire about being a DiMera, the fact that his DNA from them as well as his mother might work against him ... Paul asks the nearby nurse who John is speaking with. His son! Paul smiles and excitedly approaches, his eyes filled with hope. He assumes Brady knows and says so. Brady stares blankly ... Roman urges JJ to be honest. Jen notes this is only an anonymous accusation and sees Roman to the door ...Before John can stop him, Brady snaps he knows who Paul is alright and blasts him for causing trouble for his friends Sonny and Will. Paul is upset by his attitude. John tries to explain but Theresa appears and tells Paul to get back in the elevator and pretend it is the closet! She is still smarting over his flirtation. She screams to leave their private family moment ... Roman is sorry but he is obliged to follow up on tips. Jen understands and tells him to get in touch with Theresa and Marlena. They have news to share ... Eve is horrified to have Cole at her door, and even more horrified when he boasts about what he did BEFORE she had given him an untraceable phone. Eve is furious he phoned a tip line, thus tipping off JJ! She warns him he committed a crime and could be caught. He leers like she did too ... Marlena assures Chad he controls his own destiny, repeats her sympathy for his loss, and steps out ...Chad sighs at his sister's photo, concluding she never stood a chance ... Jen and Abi are off to the square. Paige hopes her mother did not do this ... Theresa screams at Paul for playing her and seducing her cousin. John thunders to SHUT UP, that happens to be his SON! Brady blinks his blue eyes in bewilderment ... John explains this is what he later intended to tell Brady, that Paul is his half-brother. Paul scoffs he wants no part of the family and storms off. John promises to explain later and goes after him ...Theresa quips she did not see that coming. Brady quips neither did he. She trash talks Paul and he points out that is his BROTHER ... Kate accepts that Lucas has stolen Audra the top designer over to the DiMera side. But she wants a word with her son and tries to stop him from leaving. He leers not to touch him, blasts her again for her betrayal, and walks out claiming he is through with her this time. Kate's beautifully made up eyes fill with tears ... Abigail and Jen are at the square shopping in advance of Paige's birthday since JJ is planning a surprise party. Jen now sits her down to inform her that Kristen was killed. Abigail immediately worries about CHAD ... Paige and JJ will get together later. She gives him a hug and goes. Home alone, JJ wonders whether it could have been Eve ...Chad has an incoming call from Stefano ...Meanwhile Marlena is surrounded by three suited men at the Salem park. There is no way out ... In another room, John calls Paul his son and implores him to hear him out. But Paul has been hurt and decides he does not even want to be part of his family ... Theresa tells Brady she is terrified about their baby's test results and throws her arms around him. Brady cannot bring himself to push her away now that they share a son ... Eve screams at Cole not to try and threaten her and grabs him by the jacket. She drags him to the door and throws it open. Paige stands and stares at the sight ... JJ now decides to focus on his paper and takes his tablet out of his bag. That is when he finds the planted drugs that someone planted to destroy him. There is no doubt in his mind now ...! THE END! Ahead on Days: Marlena is kidnapped to the castle! JJ intends to take on Eve. Abigail goes to Chad. |
