Thursday, February 3, 2011 up at 5:18 pm est February 2 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Raising Parker! - Replay of Jen flatlining after the machine is turned off. Dan gasps. Mel moans. Dr. Dan must perform an emergency procedure to massage her heart and the machine is now just going haywire. "Come on!" he encourages. Eventually the usual beep beep of the machine is back and it is music to Dan's ears! Time to close her up. Nurse Melanie is much impressed. Dan praises her for doing the work of an OR team all by herself. He thinks Jen will be okay. The paramedic arrives to prepare the patient to be transported to the hospital. They are good to go! - Chloe is sitting at Maggie's table, staring at the prescription Dan gave her. Enter black widow Kate, there to see her grandson. Chloe numbly states he is sleeping. Kate wants to take a peek at him. She asks Chloe what she is looking at. Chloe says nothing. Kate feigns concern and wonders if she is alright. Chloe suggests she go away. Kate realizes she was looking at a prescription and card to a doctor. She wants her to think about Parker, regardless of Chloe's suspicions. She wants what is best for the baby and claims she believes mama Chloe is best for him. Chloe doubts she really feels that way. Kate brings up the depression she is suffering and insists she accept help to get over it. Parker needs a strong, healthy mother. And if this doctor is not helpful, they will find another one. "We?" suspiciously says Chloe. Kate mentions her hormonal moods being something only a woman could understand. Chloe considers her offer of help, then concludes Kate wants an inch so she can take away her baby! Kate calmly replies that having a baby makes one compromise for the good of the child. She and Chloe are linked to Parker and want the same thing. She assures her that she and Phillip can help her with the burden. She suggests she let Phil take him just for a few days. The baby is heard crying on the monitor. - Taylor has stopped off at the pub on her way to the bus station, still burdened with her suitcase. Enter Nicole. She spoke to mama Fay on the phone, who made her feel guilty about blowing her off. Taylor states she was happy to see her anyway so they should leave it at that. Nicole confesses she might change her mind once she tells her something. She suggests they have a drink. Taylor makes a snide remark about wanting her out of her life. Nicole asks her to sit down and order a drink. Taylor has diet soda. Nicole orders a dirty martini straight up. She sighs she must explain something complicated to her. She does not know how to handle having family as it makes her remember the past. Taylor assures her she is family too and alludes to their evil father. Nicole does not want to remember him, however. It is hard that she and Brandon suffered, while Taylor got a pass. Perhaps they were not destined to bond, yet she should not have treated her badly. She hands her money for the motel she can stay at until she catches her morning bus, and adds she should forget about her. - Maggie rushes into the hospital in tears, looking for Jennifer. Maxine explains the surgery is being done elsewhere. Maggie is a mess. Victor steps up to console her. Maggie laments she is so young. The Greek tycoon assures her Dan will save her. Maggie now learns she was helping Hope at the time. She pauses, then asks Vic to pull some strings and throw his weight around to find out what is happening. "Please!" The Greek tycoon places a call and lets her know that Daniel is still operating. The redhead quips that waiting should be a breeze, after all the time she spent locked in the sarcophagus. Victor tells her she can fall to pieces if need be, for he is there for her. He realizes it is a hard day, as Mickey also died one year ago today. Maggie woefully wonders how many people one can lose and still remain the one they loved. Victor gives her a tender look. She is still the person that Mickey loved, the best person he knows. "Thanks," she whispers and they embrace. - At the interrogation room, Carly is worried as it has been too long. Bo reassures her. "No news is good news." He knows Dan will save the fair Jen! Carly is shocked to hear that Walters is in custody, still insisting he can save Jen. She cannot believe he did not know what was going on. Bo rages he did not want to know! Carly updates him on her talk with Hope, who thanked her again for helping. Bo agrees she did help a great deal. Carly marvels they had something in common over Jennifer, but there is more. She saw the real Hope then. Enter Abe. "Jennifer is still alive but it doesn't look good." Carly is ready to cry. Abe admits it is taking longer than anticipated but once ready, Jen will be in University Hospital. He is also doing his best to have Carly released. "What about Hope?" wonders Bo. Abe explains for time being, she will be held in the county jail. Carly now gets the much anticipated call from Daniel, confirming that Jen made it. She hugs Bo. Once Abe is gone, Carly repeats that she saw the old Hope. For a while, Bo and Hope could not be together so she was not wrong to be with him. Yet now things are different. He agrees they are. Carly quietly states that he and Hope can be together again and that is why she will not be going home with him. Bo starts to protest ... Carly takes his face in her hands and smiles tearfully he should be happy for the time they had together. "I know I am." Bo gets choked up. "I do love you." Carly smiles she knows, but it is not a forever kind of thing, as he already has that with someone. She cries that she is glad for their time together and insists they handled it with class, so it is best to end it like that. "Classy." Bo teases it is not wise to make him love her even more. Roman saunters in with news. "I just met with the D.A. and Carly is free to go." Carly emotionally tells Bo to take care of himself, thanks him for the memories, kisses him, and is gone, Bo turns around and quietly weeps. Roman asks if he is okay. Bo's thoughts remain focused on Hope. They must get her out of this mess! He wants Roman to give her a message that Jen will make it and he will get her back with her family, too. Bo would have liked to see her himself, but Roman explained it was not possible. Roman agrees to pass on the message and exits. Bo cries. - Dan rushes in as Jen is wheeled into the hospital. Victor and Maggie await and she wants an update. Dr. Dan admits there is still a risk she could reject her heart, given what it was through. Maggie is reduced to tears. "Her own heart?!" She soon meets up with Mel, who updates her at least Jennifer is stable. They will know more in the morning. Maggie decides to stay the night. Victor offers to get her an overnight bag. Maggie would rather he not, and he deduces she is worried about Chloe. He promises not to give the girl any more problems. Maggie thanks him, as the poor thing could not handle much more. They smile and walk off together arm in arm. Tired Mel and Dan have been advised to wait for news on Jen. They sit down and wait together. He wishes he had known her growing up. Mel whispers at least they have now. Mel falls asleep with her head on his shoulder. Carly walks up and murmurs she could not be prouder of them both ... - Victor and Maggie return to the house, only to find Kate holding baby Parker. Chloe goes upstairs to bed. Kate claims to be concerned. Maggie wants to give the baby his bottle. Kate hands him over. Maggie takes him into the other room. Kate make a snide remark about Maggie's mood. The Greek tycoon warns she has had a rough day and did not need to come home only to find the likes of her. Kate gleefully informs him that Chloe is in terrible shape. She could not even feed her own child. "Isn't that wonderful," she leers. Victor sighs. Kate goes on to claim that Chloe would not comfort the baby and she had to pick him up. He belongs with Phillip. Victor warns they must handle this carefully. Kate refuses to be held back by his reluctance due to his feelings for the redhead. She thinks they can trick Chloe that basket case into looking like she has abandoned Parker, after she convinces her to take an emotional timeout. They need to get that baby away from her as soon as possible! Meanwhile, Maggie is upstairs with Parker. Depressed Chloe is in bed and would rather not hold him to rock him back to sleep. - Back at the pub, Taylor tells Nicole she does not want her handouts. Nicole calls it guilt money and walks out. Taylor decides she will pay her back when she can and stands up. Abe enters and is elated to see her! She sighs she is on her way to the bus station. He explains the last bus has left. Taylor plans to go to a hotel room but Abe will have none of it and invites her to stay at the house. "Lexie will be thrilled!" - Back at the interrogation room, reinstated Roman has an update for Bo. He has given Hope the good news. He has also pulled rank and arranged for him to see her tomorrow. Bo is grateful. - Dan finishes updating Carly on Jen's operation. Mel steps away to call Nath. Papa Dan and mama Carly are so proud of her. They now talk Jen. Dan mentions second acts, American style. Maybe they do exist ... - Maggie comes downstairs, clearly displeased that Kate is still in her house. Kate promptly leaves. Maggie has decided to stay the night. Victor wonders if she is worried about Chloe and the baby. Maggie exclaims she will not let Kate go after the poor girl when she is vulnerable. She warns either he must keep that woman in line or deal with her! - Outside, Kate pauses and promises her little angel that he will be with Phillip and Mel. Chloe does not even stand a chance! Meanwhile, Parker cries by his sleeping mother ... Next on Days of Our Lives "I know that you and I are not a mistake," Nath murmurs to Mel. "Damn it, EJ, where are you!" laments Nicole. Rafe weakly tries to grab EJ through the prison bars. "Son of a bitch!" EJ steps back and arrogantly laughs. |
