Jay Leno debuted his new show, the Jay Leno Show, on Monday night. "I apologize for my face being all over the place!" he joked, in reference to all the promos, then proceeded to poke fun at the world, but was the world impressed? Entertainment Weekly didn't seem to be after he brought up Kanye West's deceased mum to the rapper, asking what she would have said about his recent VMA moment. USA Today, on the other hand, seemed to think the Kanye chat was the main event. No sooner had host Alison Sweeney spoken of the new theme of Biggest Loser - Second Chances, which was also the long running mantra of Days of Our Lives Sami/Lucas fans - than a rumor started re-spreading on the net that the Lucas half of what was once Lumi (Bryan Datillo) was about to be dropped from the show. That crazy "rumor" has been around for ages. Crazy timing. Crazier times. P.S. Bryan Datillo, you rock! Celebrities gone wild? In little over a week, actor Darin Brooks was bleeped during his Daytime Emmy acceptance speech, tennis star Serena Williams was fined $10,000 for colorful language at the U.S. Open, and Britain's popular Jeremy Kyle show was called out by a media watchdog for its third instance of offensive language. What the F ...! Meanwhile, Susan Boyle was recently spotted at Disneyland, enjoying the rides. Honorable souls ... Patrick Swayze passed away on September 14.
