Bo and Hope get to celebrate their love all over again but what about SHELLE? Shawn and Belle were supposed to be the next generation of Bo and Hope but they are nowhere to be seen in Salem!   1. Yes, definitely I think that Shelle are the missing link on Days right now. I don’t care if they get 2 new actors to play them just bring them back. The Salem P.D. has all these older guys Shawn could be a younger generation of cop, written smart, unlike last time, and Belle would be nicer at the hospital with kids than Chelsea.

  2. I have always loved SHELLE! They were probably my favorite to watch. They always had a good storyline. I loved jason cook as shawn the best & martha madison as belle. They were the next Bo & Hope and we need them back to continue their
    storyline.

  4. Yes they should bring back Belle and Shawn. They were my favorite couple on days. I think they need to try to get Jason Cook and Martha Madison back. I think they were the best as Belle and Shawn.

  5. I agree with Melissa. I loved Jason Cook and Martha Madison as Shawn and Bell. Although I also learned to like Brandon Beamer.

    I can’t stand the old Belle (Kristen Storms) I tried to watch GH to see her and Jason Cook together and she is extremely annoying and whiny. I don’t like her at all.

  9. I think that they should bring SHELLE back also. I like both of the couples (Martha and Brandon and Jason and Kristen) Kristen on GH is a totally different then on Days. I don’t like her on GH but I loved her on Days with Jason.

  10. Bring them back. I was was surprised they actually took them off the show to begin with. They finally let them get together and then they get rid of them???What a kick in the face to the fans. Bring them back PLEASE

  15. I agree with them coming back–they left too big a hole in the cast! We need to ease in to the next generation, with their characters being smartly written–not like last time.
    The ratings sure need a spike, and if written correctly, that could do it!!
    We need to try to repair what the triangles have caused…low ratings!!

  18. I loved Shawn and Belle on Days. They were my favorite couple! I liked both couples but would like to see Martha and Brandon back. Please put them back on the show. It’s just not as good without them.

  19. They need to bring Shelle back – the show has been lacking ever since! I would love to see Jason Cook back but have gotten used to Brandon Beemer & definitely bring back Martha Madison. I don’t understand why the writers made them leave in the first place. It would be nice to see a supercouple that is a younger generation!

  20. DEFINITELY bring them back!!!! I agree that I always thought Brandon looked like Hope and made a much better looking Bo & Hope offspring. Love Martha too so I would absolutely love to see Brandon & Martha back!

  21. Day’s is missing something, I have watched from day one and do mean day one. Day’s is based on its families, you keep breaking them apart, let the next generation grow up on screen like you allowed the older generation. Let’s get our family back together and maybe you can have some great story lines again.

  22. Days made a big mistake when they let the original Shelle go. Now they are together on another soap and doing well. We need Shelle back to complete and Brady family. I wish they could get Jason and Kirsten back, but any other actor for Shawn and Martha for Belle. This will also bring the family back to John and Marlana. With new writers there could be wonderful writing ahead for these 2 families.

  23. They need to bring back Bell and Shawn. Days is not the same with out them. I also think they need to bring back Martha Madison she was such a good Bell. She really made the role hers. She took Bell from a teenager to an adult.

  24. I think they should only bring them back if they’re written smart… At one point, Shawn was going to be a lawyer… What happened? And Belle a nurse. Instead their lives were filled with frivolity and drama. The writers insist on giving the characters realistic story lines, how about starting by giving them real jobs?

    Bo and Hope went through their fair share of turmoil, but the writers realized that some things are better left alone…

  25. Whoevers idea? it was to get rid of Belle and Shawn, needs to go back in history on this show. Sure you can visualize them going on a trip, but not gone forever!! It’s just not the smae family without them around! Shawn would never “desert” his mother and father like that, and neither would Belle from her family..they are all SOLID CHARACTERS for this show. Most of us didn’t like the protrayal of “dumb Shawn” “stupid” Belle..on our screen, we wanted the normalcy like they were as teens. If they could be brought back with Martha Madison playing Belle and a new Shawn, because the two former actors are tied up in other soaps, that would be a good thing. They need to get rid of some of the teeny boppers on this show and stick to main characters!! The viewers, (fans), are tired of new people they have NO VESTED INTEREST IN.

  28. I didn’t care for the last two actors playing them but I’d be really happy to see Shelle again. They could cast new people or something but it would be great. I do miss them.

  30. I totally have not watched Days like I used to since Shelle has been off, it is just not the same. They will bring back a lot of old fans if they bring them back, get rid of Kayla and Steve…Annoying!!! I love Belle and Shawn, and I could care less what actors they are, they just need them back and quick!!!

  31. Yes, bring back Belle and Shawn, BUT PLEASE KILL OFF STEFREAKANO FOR GOOD!! I hate that character, it’s slow and so dull/old, over kill is a better word. I’ve been watching Days long enough to know that I’m sick to death of Stefano, since 1970 to be exact. Bring back Eugene instead, at leat HE WAS FUNNY!! Love everything else thats been happening on the show!

  38. I agree, I love SHELLE, would love to see Jason Cook back on Days, great actor and Martha Madison as Belle. Bring them BACK! I was very surprised when they were cut from Days. If the writers want to cut characters, cut out Kayla and Anna, they don’t add anything to the storyline and are therefore redundant. I certainly don’t miss Mimi, letting her go was a good call.

  39. Personally, I liked the old Shawn, and Belle. (Jason Cook, Kirsten Storms). Personally, I can’t stand Martha Madison, and Brandon Beemer is more of a model, than an actor. Most of the time, he just stands in one spot, and looks confused. If you bring them black, pleas bring Cook & Storms back!

  40. I have to disgree with the comment on Brandon Beemer, I think he is a strong actor with great potential! However, I think Jason Cook suits the role of Shawn better. Hope the writers can tear him away from General Hospital.

  41. I’ve been a fan of days for over 20 years (still young though!) and have loved Shelle since the beginning! The couple’s destiny reigns within the caliber of Bo and Hope! My favorite actor chemistry rests with Brandon Beemer and Martha Madison. I loved the orginals, but I believe Brandon and Martha were believeable.

  42. We need a 20 something couple who are good people, protagonists. There are too many bad people in Salem. The young characters are too self-absorbed and annoying Shawn and Belle were nice people. They would help the ratings I bet.

  46. Well the originals are looking pretty good over at GH. Thanks again Days for letting good talent get away!

    I agree that Shelle needs to return because Days is about the Family! Please find two actors that have chemistry and write them a story line where they aren’t stupid. I believe I would have liked the last two if they weren’t stupid. Who takes their child away like they did. Hope and Bo did it but they used their brains. Shelle just said I want to be like Bo and Hope and left no plan. Unbeliveable for Shawn or Belle to do that. That would make them smarter in high school than as an adult and that isn’t right.

  47. Best thing that happened to Days was the departure of Shelle. Give us some time to forget the horrible writing. Yes, they need to be back, but with characters that are likable and believable. No opinion of the actors one way or the other since the material was so awful.

    It was unbelievable that Shawn or Philip, or even her parents could tolerate a brat as stupid as Belle. She was a lovely person at one time. And Shawn used to have a brain.

    Bring them back, but as interesting likable characters, please.

  49. To be honest, after all the complaints I read on other message boards about Brandon Beemer, I would prefer to not have them back. And since the originals are both on GH, I do not think they would come back but if the originals would come back I think it would be great.
    Of course KS would have to mature the character a bit and I would love to see JC as Shawn have it out legally with that twit Jan for all the torture she put him through and even love to see Belle get to rip into her for all she did to destroy their love. At this point I could see Jan in one of her many disguises becoming a Nanny for Claire and and getting the child to trust her, as Jan slowly goes after Shawn once more (like in that “The Hand that Rocks the Cradle” movie. The story line could go on for months as Jan makes Belle think she is going insane etc. But like I said, the originals are busy.

  50. I would like to see Shelly come back even if they are with other actors. It would be good to see a couple that “looks” more like a loving couple—or actors that look like they belong together…and have a lot of chemistry.

  51. I’ve read most of these comments. Wow! Everyone seems to be in agreeance that Shelle needs to return. Why can’t the writers see how much those characters mean to us??? If this is what we want why can’t they give it to us??? I love Days and have been a fan for years. Belle and Shawn, besides Bo and Hope are my absolute favs. It killed me when they were written off. I think that was a dumb move on the writers part. I think Belle and Shawn should be brought back!!!!!
